<i>Annual Review of Plant Biology</i> Academic journal

Annual Review of Plant Biology is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Annual Reviews. It was first published in 1950 as the Annual Review of Plant Physiology. Sabeeha Merchant has been the editor since 2005, making her the longest-serving editor in the journal's history after Winslow Briggs (1973–1993). As of 2022, Journal Citation Reports lists the journal's 2021 impact factor as 28.310, ranking it first of 238 journal titles in the category "Plant Sciences".

<i>Cell and Tissue Research</i> Academic journal

Cell and Tissue Research presents regular articles and reviews in the areas of molecular, cell, stem cell biology and tissue engineering. In particular, the journal provides a forum for publishing data that analyze the supracellular, integrative actions of gene products and their impact on the formation of tissue structure and function. Articles emphasize structure–function relationships as revealed by recombinant molecular technologies. The coordinating editor of the journal is Klaus Unsicker.

Allied Academies is a reportedly fraudulent corporation chartered under the laws of North Carolina. Its postal address is in London, United Kingdom. It presents itself as an association of scholars, with supporting and encouraging research and the sharing and exchange of knowledge as its stated aims. The organization consists of 30 affiliate academies, which provide awards to academics and publish academic journals both online and in hard copy for members. Since 2015 the organization has been listed on Jeffrey Beall's list of "potential, possible, or probable predatory scholarly open-access publishers". It is in a partnership with OMICS Publishing Group which uses its website and logo. In 2018, OMICS owner Srinubabu Gedela declared that he had informed the Nevada court that Allied Academies was a subsidiary of OMICS International. During a conference in 2018, they falsely listed a prominent chemist among its organizing committee who had not agreed to this and was not affiliated with Allied Academies.

<i>Histochemistry and Cell Biology</i> Academic journal

Histochemistry and Cell Biology is a peer-reviewed scientific journal in the field of molecular histology and cell biology, publishing original articles dealing with the localization and identification of molecular components, metabolic activities, and cell biological aspects of cells and tissues. The journal covers the development, application, and evaluation of methods and probes that can be used in the entire area of histochemistry and cell biology. The journal is published by Springer Science+Business Media and the official journal of the Society for Histochemistry. Earlier names of the journal are Histochemie and Histochemistry. The editors-in-chief are Jürgen Roth, Takehiko Koji, Michael Schrader and Douglas J. Taatjes.
