The Polish Centre (Polish : Polskie Centrum, PC) was a political alliance in Poland.

Polish language West Slavic language spoken in Poland

Polish is a West Slavic language of the Lechitic group. It is spoken primarily in Poland and serves as the native language of the Poles. In addition to being an official language of Poland, it is also used by Polish minorities in other countries. There are over 50 million Polish-language speakers around the world and it is one of the official languages of the European Union.

History

The PC was an alliance of Narodowe Zjednoczenie Ludowe, the Catholic People's Party and Polski Związek Kresowy. It received around 3% of the vote in the 1922 elections, winning six seats in the Sejm. [1]

1922 Polish legislative election

Parliamentary elections were held in Poland on 5 November 1922, with Senate elections held a week later on 12 November. The elections were governed by the March Constitution of Poland, and saw the Christian Union of National Unity coalition emerge as the largest bloc in the Sejm with 163 of the 444 seats.

The Progressive Conservative Association of Alberta was a provincial centre-right party in the Canadian province of Alberta. In June 2015 it merged with the Liberal Reformist Party to form the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats.

2008 Romanian legislative election

Legislative elections were held in Romania on 30 November 2008. The Democratic Liberal Party (PDL) won most seats in both the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate, although the alliance headed by the Social Democratic Party (PSD) won a fractionally higher vote share. The two parties subsequently formed a governing coalition with Emil Boc of the PDL as Prime Minister.

The Wildrose Party is a conservative provincial political party in Alberta, Canada. The party was formed by the merger in early 2008 of the Alberta Alliance Party and the unregistered Wildrose Party of Alberta. The wild rose is Alberta's provincial flower.

The Newfoundland and Labrador Alliance is a political party in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The party was created by former PC Party president Graydon Pelley in November 2018, following a split over the direction of the party. It was registered with Elections Newfoundland and Labrador in April 2019. The party ran 9 candidates in the 2019 provincial election but failed to win any seats in the legislature.
