Rich Draheim (born April 27,1969) is an American politician and member of the Minnesota Senate. A member of the Republican Party of Minnesota,he represents District 22 in south-central Minnesota.
Draheim graduated from Minnesota State University,Mankato with a Bachelor of Science in 1994. [1] He owns Weichert Realtors in Mankato. [2] He previously owned the Westwood Marina in Kasota and the New Ulm Event Center,along with other business ventures.
Draheim was elected to the Minnesota Senate in 2016.
Draheim and his wife,Lynnette,have two children and reside in Madison Lake. [1] He is a member of the Lutheran Church –Missouri Synod. [1]

Pawlenty comfortably won the election,which was attributed in part to Moe's uninspired campaign,with Moe being dubbed a "cautious dullard" four years later by the City Pages.

The 2002 United States Senate election in Minnesota took place on November 5,2002. Incumbent Senator Paul Wellstone was running for a third term but died in a plane crash eleven days before the election. The Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL) quickly chose former Vice President and 1984 presidential nominee Walter Mondale to replace Wellstone on the ballot. Mondale had previously held the seat from 1964 to 1976,resigning to assume the vice presidency. He narrowly lost to Republican Norm Coleman,the former mayor of Saint Paul. The day before the election,Governor Jesse Ventura appointed the 1996 Independence Party candidate,Dean Barkley,to serve the remainder of Wellstone's term.
Kern Bridge or Yaeger Bridge crossed the Le Sueur River in Blue Earth County in the U.S. state of Minnesota. It was built in 1873 using a bowstring through truss design by the Wrought Iron Bridge Company. It was 183.5 feet (56 m) long and carried a local road. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980 as Minnesota's only bowstring arch truss bridge and oldest road bridge still in use. However,it was closed to vehicle traffic in 1991.
