ROSSETTI is a privately owned architectural firm that was founded in Detroit, in 1969, by Gino Rossetti. In 1999, the firm's ownership was passed onto his son, Matt Rossetti. The firm's early projects centered on health care facilities, corporate headquarters, interiors, retail and master planning. The firm began approaching the sports and entertainment industry after ROSSETTI was contracted in 1984 to design The Palace of Auburn Hills.
Today, ROSSETTI works with clients worldwide on a wide variety of projects, with a focus on sports and entertainment. ROSSETTI's focus globally is in Asia and Europe.

The Palace of Auburn Hills, commonly known as the Palace, was a multi-purpose arena located in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Opened in 1988, it was the home of the Detroit Pistons of the National Basketball Association (NBA), the Detroit Shock of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA), the Detroit Vipers of the International Hockey League, the Detroit Rockers of the National Professional Soccer League, the Detroit Neon/Detroit Safari of the Continental Indoor Soccer League, and the Detroit Fury of the Arena Football League.

John Mason is the public address announcer for the Detroit Pistons' basketball games at Little Caesars Arena who is best known for nearly twenty as the host of Mason in The Morning show, which aired on WJLB, and for his colorful introductions, and is credited with coining the popular chant "Deeeeee-troit basketball!" Mason's flamboyant voice has been requested at many sporting events, and he was chosen to serve as the PA announcer at the 2007 NBA All-Star Game in Las Vegas. He also served as the announcer for the international ALL-STAR game in Cyprus & Turkey in 2005. Mason is very popular with his announcing during nationally televised games. When the NBA on ESPN or the NBA on ABC features a Detroit Pistons home game, both networks put him on TV when he introduces the starting lineups.

The 2007–08 Detroit Pistons season was the 67th season of the franchise, the 60th in the National Basketball Association (NBA), and the 51st in the Detroit area. The Central Division Pistons finished the regular season with a 59-23 record, 14 games ahead of the second place Cavaliers. Their 59 wins were the third most in franchise history. In the NBA Playoffs, Detroit advanced to the Eastern Conference finals for the sixth consecutive time since 2003, making them the first team since the 1986–87 Los Angeles Lakers to appear that many consecutive times in their respective Conference finals. Dan Meis, FAIA, RIBA is an American architect best known for designing sports and entertainment facilities including Staples Center, Safeco Field, Paycor Stadium, Stadio Della Roma, and Everton FC's new Everton Stadium.
