Sarah Ann Kozer (born December 16, 1973)[ citation needed ] is a television personality best known for her appearance in the reality television series Joe Millionaire , finishing as the runner-up to Zora Andrich.

Personal life

Kozer was born and raised in the Pittsburgh suburb of Hunker, Pennsylvania. She graduated from George Mason University [1] with a degree in philosophy and women's studies and attended Southwestern University School of Law, without completing her law degree. She is also a strict vegetarian, and she has said she would not eat meat for money. (She later proved this in her reality TV career.) [2]

Career

She appeared in a cover-featured pictorial in the June 2003 issue of Playboy . [3] After a legal battle over unauthorized use of her name and likeness, Kozer applied for and was approved for a US trademark on her name (US TM #3026990). She's appeared in a number of fetish films under the name "Cindy Schubert". [4] [5] [6]

In January 2004, Kozer was chosen to participate on the British reality show Back to Reality , [7] which aired on Channel 5 in the United Kingdom. During her time in the house, she had a modest "showmance" with contestant James Hewitt. She was later evicted before the series finale. [8] After being voted out, it became known she had finished work on her first novel and was also working on a cook book. [9] She also had an uncredited role as a groupie in Almost Famous . [10]

Back to Reality is a reality television show featuring stars from previous reality television programmes. The show was broadcast on Channel 5 between 15 February 2004 to 5 March 2004. It was advertised by Channel 5 as being "The biggest reality show of all time" however in terms of ratings, it failed to deliver. The 12 contestants spent 3 weeks in a studio built mansion, with no natural sunlight. In the final two weeks, the public voted for their favourite housemate with the two people with the lowest votes every 3/4 nights being put to the housemate vote, where the other contestants has to vote for who they wanted to leave. Each season of the series has featured a group of single women, competing for the affection of a bachelor who was falsely billed as being a millionaire. If the last remaining woman still accepted the love of the bachelor despite the ruse, the couple would also win a high-value prize.

Popstars: The Rivals is a British television talent show series that was broadcast on ITV in late 2002. It was the second UK series of the international Popstars franchise. Unlike Popstars, which resulted in the formation of one winning group, Hear'Say, Popstars: The Rivals created two rival groups, Girls Aloud and One True Voice, who competed against each other for the Christmas number one spot on the UK Singles Chart. I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! returned for its tenth series on 14 November 2010. It ran for 3 weeks. <i>The X Factor</i> (British series 8) British TV competition

The X Factor is a British television music competition to find new singing talent. The eighth series commenced airing on ITV on 20 August 2011 and ended on 11 December 2011. The winner was Little Mix, a four-piece girlband known earlier in the series as Rhythmix, consisting of members Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall, and formerly Jesy Nelson. They entered the competition as soloist, and later put together as a group. They became the first act in the groups category to win in the UK show's history with new judge Tulisa emerging as their winning mentor. Dermot O'Leary presented the main show on ITV, while Caroline Flack and series 6 runner-up Olly Murs co-presented the spin-off show The Xtra Factor on ITV2, replacing Konnie Huq from the previous year. Louis Walsh returned to the judging panel and was joined by Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland and Tulisa. Barlow, Rowland and Tulisa joined the panel as replacements for former judges, Simon Cowell, Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole. Series 5 winner Alexandra Burke served as a guest judge for week 4 of the live shows due to Rowland having a throat infection.

The X Factor in the UK has been subject to much controversy and criticism since its launch in 2004. This has included allegations of conflict of interest, voting irregularities and overcharging, product placement for sponsors, staging scenes, use of pitch correction technology, and exploiting vulnerable contestants. The series has also been criticised for developing singers as marketable products rather than creative individuals. As of April 2020, there have been fifteen completed series broadcast on the ITV network, as well as spin-offs The X Factor: Celebrity (2019) and The X Factor: The Band (2019).

Super Singer JuniorIthu Thamizhagathin Chellakuralukkana Thedal – is a reality TV show since 2007 hosted by Vijay TV, a popular Tamil channel of the Star Network, and sponsored by Bharti Airtel. It is a singing talent hunt for the children of age group 6–14. This is the junior version of the Super Singer show, which premiered in 2006. Auditions are held in various parts of Tamil Nadu, India. The show attracts many kids from all over the state and rigorous multi-level selection procedures are done in order to select the contestants for the competition.

Love Island is a British dating game show. It is a revival of the earlier celebrity series of the same name, which aired for two series in 2005 and 2006 on ITV. The series is narrated by Iain Stirling, and was hosted by Caroline Flack until her suspension in 2019; Laura Whitmore began presenting the series in 2020. The series is the originator of the international Love Island franchise, with fifteen versions of it having been produced so far worldwide.
