    Shim Eun-ha is a retired South Korean actress. Shim rose to popularity in the 1990s, starring in some of the highest-rated Korean dramas of all time, such as The Last Match, M and Trap of Youth. But she is best known for her acclaimed performance in Hur Jin-ho's melodrama Christmas in August, for which she swept the Best Actress awards in 1998. This was followed by another well-received turn in romantic comedy Art Museum by the Zoo. Shim suddenly retired from show business after the Dogme 95 film Interview, at the height of her fame in 2001, and her mystique solidified her status as the most beloved South Korean actress of that decade.

    Shim or Sim (Korean: 심) is a Korean surname. There are six Shim clans in Korea based in the regions of Cheongsong, Pungsan, Samcheok, Buyu, Uiryeong, and Jeonju. The biggest Shim clan is Cheongsong; they comprise about 85% of all those with the surname Shim. Fourteen percent of all Korean Shims are members of the Pungsan and Samcheok clans. As of 2000, there were 252,255 people with this surname in South Korea, less than 1% of the population.

    <i>H.I.T</i> (TV series) 2007 Korean television series

    H.I.T, also known as Homicide Investigation Team, is a 2007 South Korean television series starring Go Hyun-jung, Ha Jung-woo, Kim Jung-min, and Yoon Ji-min. It aired on MBC from March 19 to May 22, 2007 on Mondays and Tuesdays at 21:55 for 20 episodes. A police procedural crime drama that integrated crime scene analysis with action, suspense, and romance, H.I.T represented a departure from the usual Korean drama subjects of love and relationships.

    Fujin is a type of guanmao (冠帽), a male traditional headgear generally made from a black fabric in China and Korea. The fujin is a form of hood made on one width of cloth, from which its Chinese name derived from. It was usually worn with Shenyi in the Ming Dynasty. The fujin was later adopted in Joseon where it became known as bokgeon and became known as the 'hat of the Confucian scholars'. The fujin also influenced the development of other headwear such as the futou.

    <i>Wonsam</i> Traditional Korean clothing

    The wonsam is a female ceremonial topcoat in hanbok. It originated from China, and it was worn by queens, high-ranking court ladies, and royalty during the Joseon dynasty of Korea (1392–1910). It is also called 'daeui', 'daesu' and 'jangsam'. The queen, princess consort, and consort to the first son of the crown prince wore it as a soryebok, a robe for small ceremonies, while wives of high officers and sanggung wore it as daeryebok, a robe for major ceremonies. It was also worn by commoners on their wedding ceremony.

    Sunny is a 2011 South Korean comedy-drama film. The film is about a middle-aged woman who tries to fulfill her friend's dying wish of reuniting their group of high school friends. The film alternates between two timelines: the present day where the women are middle-aged, and the 1980s when they were in high school. It is the second film by writer-director Kang Hyeong-cheol, who previously directed Scandal Makers (2008).

It aired on SBS every Saturdays to Sundays at 20:45 (KST) from August 27 to October 30, 2016, and then 2 episodes every Saturday from November 5, 2016 to April 8, 2017.     Undercover is a 2021 South Korean television series directed by Song Hyun-wook and starring Ji Jin-hee, Kim Hyun-joo, Jung Man-sik, and Heo Joon-ho. Based on BBC drama series of the same name, it portrays the story of Han Jeong-hyeon, an agent at the National Intelligence Service, and a Human Rights lawyer, Choi Yeon-soo. It aired on JTBC on Fridays and Saturdays at 23:00 (KST) from April 23 to June 12, 2021. The series is also available on streaming media TVING in South Korea. Kim Hyun-joo and Ji Jin-hee previously starred together in Miss Kim's Million Dollar Quest (2004) and I Have a Lover (2015).

    <i>Love Scene Number</i> 2021 South Korean television series

    Love Scene Number is a South Korean omnibus television series starring Kim Bo-ra, Shim Eun-woo, Ryu Hwa-young and Park Jin-hee. The four love scenes were released on Wavve on February 1, 2021 during the series' press conference. Co-producer MBC TV aired only two of the love scenes, on February 1 and 8.
