Shooting Gazette is a monthly field sports magazine published by Future plc.

Contents

Shooting Gazette covers all aspects of driven shooting, both in the UK and abroad. It includes advice on gamekeeping, regular interviews with leading figures in the shooting industry, and reviews of new shotguns, shooting clothing and equipment. A gundog section offers advice on training and breeding, as well as reporting on gundog trials around the country.

Shooting Gazette is currently the official magazine of the Countryside Alliance Shooting Campaign.

Will Hetherington has been the editor since July 2004.

History

Founded in Lincolnshire in 1989, originally as a quarterly publication, the magazine, then called The Shooting Gazette, became a bi-monthly in October/November of that year. EMAP traded the title to IPC Media in 1996 in exchange for Classic Cars. [2]

The editor, when it closed in 2011, was Annabel Brog. The brand lived on until 2016 through the website sugarscape.com. Aimed at females 16–24, it was edited by Kate Lucey.

Match, stylised as MATCH or MATCH!, is a weekly British football magazine aimed at the teenage and pre-teenage market. First published in 1979, the magazine had a circulation of 57,108 copies in December 2010. <i>Gamest</i> Japanese video game magazine

Gamest was a Japanese video game magazine that specialized in covering arcade games. Published by Shinseisha, it first began in May 1986 and originally published bi-monthly, later changed to be a monthly-issued magazine in the late 1980s. The magazine also featured the annual "Gamest Awards", which hands out awards to games based on user vote. The magazine had a heavy-focus on shoot 'em up arcade games, but would also cover games from other genres. Gamest originated from the bi-monthly fanzine VG2 Newsletter from the early 1980s. The magazine ran for several years, with its final issue being released in September 1999. Following the bankruptcy of publisher Shinseisha, many editors would move to ASCII and create a successor magazine, Monthly Arcadia.
