Synopsis

The series centers on a small town plagued by monsters that eat children. A mysterious young woman by the name of Erica Slaughter has the powers to combat the creatures.

In 2021, Boom! Studios announced the project to be in development for Netflix. [11] [12] In February 2023, it was announced that Dark and 1899 creators Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese had been hired to develop the adaptation after Mike Flanagan had departed, owing to creative differences. [13]

Stephen Christy is an American film and television producer, entertainment executive, and former graphic novel editor. He is the President of Development at graphic novel publisher Boom! Studios, where he oversees Boom!'s first look deals with Disney/20th Century Studios and Netflix.
