Early life

Sommer Ray was born on September 15, 1996, in Colorado. [3]

Ray's first coach in bodybuilding was her father. She was homeschooled until age 15, but then dropped out of high school due to bullying. [4]

Career

Bodybuilding and fitness

Ray started competing in bikini bodybuilding at the age of 16. In the 2015 NPC Colorado State Championships, she won first place in the teenage and class D categories. Ray stopped competing in shows after turning 18, citing the prevalence of performance-enhancing substances in the fitness industry as the reason for her quitting. [5] Ray is against the use of steroids and other performance-enhancing substances in bodybuilding. [4] [5]

Internet career

Ray stated that her relationship with WorldStarHipHop's Instagram page helped her own Instagram page grow. [4] She co-hosted a podcast with Amanda Cerny titled OHoney, which originally focused on dating advice and released 50 episodes in 2020. [6] [7] In 2021 Ray promoted Save the Kids token, a charitable cryptocurrency altcoin which later turned into a pump and dump. [8]

As of May 2024, Ray has accumulated 24.5 million followers on Instagram and 12 million on TikTok. [9]

Personal life

In January 2022, Ray purchased a home in the San Fernando Valley for $1.4 million USD. [10]
