Space Sharm is a nightclub in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt and is an affiliate of the Ibiza nightclub with the same name - Space. [1] The club opened in 2010 and is situated in the heart of the desert. "Space to Open Club in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt". Ibiza Spotlight. November 4, 2010. Space Sharm placed number 41 in the DJ Mag Top 100 Clubs in 2013. [2] Space Sharm went up 5 places in 2014 reaching #36 and is officially the number 1 club in the Middle East. In 2015, Space Sharm was voted again number 1 club in the middle east. Musically, Space Sharm is best known for specializing various styles of music not only house music. Space hosts 6 flagship nights commencing from 11pm up until 4am and is open all year round. The club hosted many international producers including Markus Schulz, Dash Berlin, Paul Van Dyk, Aly & Fila, Ferry Corsten, W&W, and many more. In 2012, Ministry of Sound Egypt held a residency at Space Sharm hosting 2 events: 'HedKandi' and 'Smoove'. The brand departed later that year. [3] In 2011, Space collaborated with Egyptian trance duo Aly & Fila by throwing an event at Space Sharm to celebrate the 200th episode of their hugely successful radio show Future Sound of Egypt (FSOE). Space continued to hold regular FSOE events throughout the year due to its popularity in Egypt.

Venue

The Venue can accommodate 9,000 to 10,000 people and is made up of 3 rooms being two of them outdoor and indoor lounge, the Terrace, El Salon and the Disco Teca. All rooms feature a sound system developed by Funktion-One. The club also has Lightning System and Laser show. The Terrace is framed within an organic style and decorated with natural elements including a 12 meter pool with a waterfall.[ citation needed ] The Discoteca has views from the red sea and the mountains.[ citation needed ]

In recent years, he has shifted to a broader electronic music style, playing everything from progressive house to uplifting trance; and hosts his own weekly radio show, Resonation Radio. Corsten routinely plays at events and festivals all over the world including Electric Daisy Carnival, Tomorrowland, and many others, and has been consistently ranked among DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs poll, having placed at rank 5 in 2004 and 2005, 6 in 2006 and 2008; and most recently at 89 for 2023.

The Guvernment, formerly known as RPM, was a nightclub complex in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was also the name of one of the two main performance venues within the complex. The other venue was Kool Haus. Other smaller rooms within the complex included: The Drink, D'Luxe Lounge, The Orange Room, SkyBar, Charlies, Tanja and Acid Lounge. The Guvernment opened in 1996 and closed in early 2015.

A State of Trance is a Dutch trance radio show hosted by Armin van Buuren and co-producer Ruben de Ronde that first aired in June 2001. Currently, it is aired weekly every Thursday at 20:00 (CET) and 14:00 (EST). As of January 2021, ASOT is broadcast to more than 150 stations in 84 countries, and its weekly listener count surpassed 40 million.

The duo has played events across the world including Ultra Music Festival, Tomorrowland, Global Gathering, and Luminosity Beach Festival. Club Glow is the longest running electronic music event promoter on the East Coast and venue owner based in Washington, DC. Established in 1999, they currently operate venues Echostage and Soundcheck and host numerous large-scale events and music festivals at the DC Armory and RFK Stadium, including Project GLOW and Moonrise Music Festival. Club Glow regularly brings top international talent to Echostage, and in 2021 the venue obtained the first place in the world by DJ Magazine’s "Top 100 Clubs," and has been voted as "the best electronic music venue in North America" since 2017. Club Glow became a subsidiary of Insomniac Events in 2020 and the creative partnership has helped the company expand throughout the East Coast and beyond.
