Syam Seethal (Kerala, India) is an actor, filmmaker and screenwriter in Malayalam cinema.

Early life and education

He hails from Thoniyakavu, North Paravur, in Kerala state, India. He studied to be a nurse and passed on the chance to work abroad to pursue his dream of working in the movies. He is married to Sreekutty Syam Seethal. [2]

Career

He wrote the script of the movie Kinavalli . [3] [4] [5] He assisted Shibu Prabhakar on the movie Duplicate. He is also credited as assistant director for Sugeeth on all his movies. [2]

He has also made short films. His short film Cocoon won the first prize in the "Yes, I am the Change" social filmmaking challenge in 2017. [1]

Mayaanadhi is a 2017 Indian Malayalam-language romantic thriller film directed and co-produced by Aashiq Abu, and written by Syam Pushkaran and Dileesh Nair. The film stars Tovino Thomas as a criminal on the run and Aishwarya Lekshmi as an aspiring actress. Their troubled love and struggle for survival form the basic plot of the film. It released on 22 December 2017 to widespread critical acclaim from critics. The film was praised for the way it tackled with sexuality and was included in The Hindu 's top 25 Malayalam films of the decade.

Krrish is an Indian actor who predominantly appears in Tamil and Malayalam cinema. Kinavalli is a 2018 Indian Malayalam-language fantasy horror film directed by Sugeeth, written by Syam Seethal and Vishnu Ramachandran and produced by Manesh Thomas under the banner Kannamthanam films. It was the remake of the Thai horror-comedy moviePee Mak (2013).
