Terry Regan (born 21 May 1958) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s. He was New South Wales Country Rugby League Player of the Year in 1981. [2] Regan was a forward with a reputation as a hard-playing, head-on tackler. He also played in England with Hull FC (Heritage № 826).
Regan began his rugby league career playing for Cessnock under coach Garry Johns. In 1981, Regan was named Country Rugby League Player of the Year [3] and was selected to represent Country in the annual City-Country clash. Although playing on the losing side, Regan's efforts in that match gained the attention of the Balmain Tigers in the New South Wales Rugby League competition, the premier competition of the time. He was given a contract for the 1982 season where he played nineteen games in first-grade but also won a reserve-grade grand-final title.
Regan was offered a contract with Eastern Suburbs for the following season. In his two seasons at Easts, Regan was sent from the field on three occasions for tackling infringements.
In 1985, Regan moved to the Canberra Raiders where he was a member of the club's first semi-finals and then the first grand-final appearance in 1987. Regan played in the last twenty minutes of the grand-final, a game lost to Manly-Warringah 18–8, In 1986 Terry took up Boxing losing on points over 3 rounds to Steve Marolt. [4]
Regan previously coached Hillston in the Group 17 competition. He now assists his wife who trains race-horses on the New South Wales Central Coast.
Steven Frederick Rogers was an Australian professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1970s and 1980s. He played for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks and St. George Dragons teams in the New South Wales Rugby League premiership competition and for Widnes in the English Championship, usually in the position of centre. Rogers represented New South Wales and Australia captaining the national team once in 1981.

Jack Gibson OAM was an Australian rugby league coach, player, and commentator. He is widely considered one of the greatest coaches in the sport's history. Nicknamed 'Supercoach', he was highly regarded not only for his coaching record but also for his thirst for innovation, as he introduced new coaching and training methods into the sport in the 1970s, and 1980s, when first-grade rugby league was then still played and coached on a semi-professional basis.
Terry Hill was an Australian professional rugby league footballer who played as a centre in the 1990s and 2000s. He played in the NRL for the South Sydney Rabbitohs, Eastern Suburbs, Western Suburbs Magpies, Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles and the Wests Tigers as well as representative football for New South Wales and Australia. He was also well known for his promotional television work with Lowes Menswear.
Graham "Wombat" Eadie, is an Australian former rugby league footballer who played in the 1970s and 1980s. He has been named amongst Australia's finest of the 20th century. A New South Wales State of Origin and Australian international representative fullback, he played in Australia during Manly-Warringah's dominance of the NSWRFL competition during the 1970s. He won four premierships with them and his 1,917 points in first grade and 2,070 points in all grades were both records at the time of his retirement. Eadie also played in England for Halifax, winning the Challenge Cup Final of 1987 with them. He also won World Cups with Australia and collected awards such as the Rothmans Medal and Lance Todd Trophy.
Robert James McCarthy MBE is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer and coach. He played for the South Sydney Rabbitohs, Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, New South Wales and for the Australian national side. He later coached in Brisbane, taking Souths Magpies to a premiership in 1981 and coaching the Gold Coast-Tweed Giants upon their entry to the Winfield Cup. Since 2001 he has been the chairman of both the Australian and NSW state selection panels.
Ian 'Shoey' Schubert is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1970s and 1980s. He later became chief salary cap auditor for the National Rugby League. An Australian international representative player, Schubert had a long club career which began with a sensational opening season for Eastern Suburbs, before fading out and re-inventing himself with Manly-Warringah and Western Suburbs so well that he regained his Australian jumper after having been in reserve grade a year prior. By the time his career closed Schubert had played 269 first grade games, which stood as the third highest in the history of the NSWRFL.
Terry William "Igor" Randall is an Australian former rugby league footballer who played for the Manly-Warringah club in the New South Wales Rugby Football League premiership. He is regularly named in all-time great teams and polls. He also represented New South Wales and Australia. He began his career in 1970 as a Centre, but soon after in 1972 was switched to the forwards by coach Ron Willey, primarily playing in the second-row. His nickname was Igor.
Cliff Lyons is an indigenous Australian former international rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s and 1990s. A Clive Churchill Medallist and two-time Dally M Medallist, he made 309 first-grade appearances with the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles, winning grand finals with them in 1987 and 1996. Lyons also represented New South Wales and Australia, being part of the successful 1990 Kangaroo Tour of Great Britain and France.
Steve Kneen is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks in the New South Wales Rugby League premiership competition. He was also selected on the 1978 tour to Britain with the Australian side but did not play in a Test. He primarily played at second-row forward.
Phil Sigsworth, is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer. He played primarily in the fullback position. Sigsworth attended Newtown Boys' Junior High School where he played Rugby Union for the school. His junior Rugby League playing days were with the Erskineville Juniors club and then the infamous Newtown Hawks from where he was graded into the district club, Newtown District Rugby League Football Club.

Rory Kostjasyn is a former Ireland international rugby league footballer. He played in the National Rugby League (NRL) for the Melbourne Storm and North Queensland Cowboys, with whom he was a member of their 2015 NRL premiership and 2016 World Club Challenge winning sides. An Ireland international and New South Wales Country representative, he played at hooker, but could also fill in at lock, and five-eighth. Kostjasyn currently works in the Newcastle Knights coaching department and previously coached their Canterbury Cup NSW team.
Allan Kevin Thomson was an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1960s and 1970s, and coached in the 1980s. He played for the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles in the New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL) competition.
