Francisco Javier Bautista Jr. better known by his stage name Frankie J, is a Mexican-American singer and former member of the musical group Kumbia Kings.
Hakeem Temidayo Seriki, better known by his stage name Chamillionaire, is an American rapper from Houston, Texas. He began his solo career with locally-tailored releases in the early 2000s, including the collaborative album Get Ya Mind Correct (2002) with fellow Houston rapper and childhood friend Paul Wall. He signed with Universal Records in 2005 to release his debut studio album, The Sound of Revenge in November of that year. It included the singles "Ridin'" —which peaked atop the Billboard Hot 100 and received a Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group—and "Turn It Up". His second album, Ultimate Victory (2007) was met with similar commercial success; it became notable for its lack of profanity and lead single "Hip Hop Police", as well as its accompanying music video. His pop rap-influenced 2009 single, "Good Morning" peaked within the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 was intended for inclusion on his third album Venom, which was never released.

The album features guest appearances from Lil' Flip, Lil Wayne, Rasaq, Natalie Alvarado, Krayzie Bone, Bun B, Scarface, Billy Cook, Killer Mike, and Pastor Troy, with its production on the album was handled by Scott Storch, Mannie Fresh, Play-N-Skillz, Cool, and Dre, among others.
"Turn It Up" is the 2005 debut single of Chamillionaire, featuring Lil' Flip. It was produced by Scott Storch. "Turn It Up" was the first single from Chamillionaire's major label debut album, The Sound of Revenge. The music video is filmed in Houston, and features cameo appearances by Crooked I, Mannie Fresh and Chamillionaire's brother Rasaq. Lil' Flip is noticed wearing a "Free Cassidy" shirt in the video, showing his support for Cassidy while he was in jail for attempted murder. This hip hop song peaked at number 41 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Strength & Loyalty, originally titled The Bone Thugs Story, is the seventh studio album by American hip hop group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, released on May 8, 2007. It was Bone Thugs-n-Harmony's first major album after an absence of nearly five years. The album contains guest appearances by Akon, Autumn Rowe, Bow Wow, Felecia, Fleetwood Mac (sampled), Mariah Carey, Swizz Beatz, The Game, Twista, will.i.am, and Yolanda Adams. Then imprisoned member Flesh-n-Bone was only featured on a track entitled "Into The Future" which did not make the album and also due to his incarceration did not make the album cover.

Produced by hip hop producer Play-N-Skillz, the song's lyrics discuss racial profiling and police brutality, in addition to the stereotyping of African Americans driving a vehicle with drugs and other contraband on the inside.
