The British Curry Awards

TheBritish Curry Awards is an annual awards dinner dedicated to the British curry industry. It was established in 2005 by Enam Ali [1] and has continued to this day. Each individual award is split for geographic purposes — regional splits of Scotland, North West, North East, Midlands, Wales, South East, South West, London Central and City, and London Suburbs — and expertise. The awards themselves are in association with JustEat.com, an online food delivery service. [2] The 16th edition of the British Curry Awards is set to take place on the date TBC December 2020 at the Battersea Evolution. [3]

The Tiffin Cup is an annual British competition run by the Tiffin Club to find the best South Asian restaurant in the United Kingdom. Nominees are selected by their constituency and then put forward by their local MPs. One restaurant from every region is then shortlisted and invited to participate in the Grand Final cook-off event held in the House of Commons of the United Kingdom, as judged by MPs and guest celebrities, with the proceeds going to a selected charity.

The Curry Awards is an award given to curry restaurants in the United Kingdom, which have achieved "total excellence" in all departments by The Curry Club in association with its publication, The Good Curry Guide.

The cuisine of Mauritius is greatly influenced by the tropical location of the island as well as the cultural diversity which characterizes the country. He is the CEO and Executive Chef of four London- based modern restaurants and one Oxford-based modern restaurant. He opened two Rasoi restaurants, the first in Chelsea, London in 2004, and the second in Geneva, Switzerland, in 2008. Both restaurants received Michelin stars, in 2006 and 2009 respectively, making Bhatia the first and only chef of Indian origin to receive two Michelin stars. Currently, he has eleven restaurants, including his signature restaurant "KAMA by Vineet" in the dining hall in Harrods in London, and appears as a judge on Netflix show The Final Table and judge-host on MasterChef India. Santosh Shah is a Nepalese chef based on London, known for competing in the UK’s reality cookery TV series BBC MasterChef: The Professionals in 2020. Declared second runner up, Santosh is credited for popularising Nepalese cuisine in the UK. In 2021, Santosh once again, competed in the UK’s BBC MasterChef: The Professionals Rematch and was declared the winner.
