Synopsis

Cheryl (Jean-Baptiste) and Alice (Staton) are two women without too much in common, but they do inadvertently share the same conman (Petrie). [2]

Production

The series is created and written by Penelope Skinner and Ginny Skinner. It was commissioned by the BBC in August 2020. [3] Robbie McKillop and Nicole Charles both direct episodes on the series. It is produced by BBC Studios with Sister. Georgie Fallon is producer on the project. The series is executive produced by Naomi de Pear, Lydia Hampson, Alice Tyler, Penelope Skinner and Ginny Skinner and Jo McClellan. [4]

Casting

In April 2022, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Alistair Petrie and Rebekah Staton were confirmed as the lead roles in the series. [5]

Filming

Filming took place in St Aldate's in Oxford in April 2022. [6]

Broadcast

The series was included in the BBC One scheduled drama and first aired on 29 August 2023. [7]

Sarah Angliss is a British composer, multi-instrumentalist, producer and robotic artist who composes for film, theatre and the concert stage, including her own live performance. The Midwich Cuckoos is a British science fiction television series on Sky Max, created by David Farr. It is based on the 1957 book of the same name by John Wyndham. It stars Keeley Hawes and Max Beesley. It began airing on 2 June 2022, and all episodes became available on Sky On Demand. In Australia, the entire series is available on Stan.

Tracks is a British thriller-mystery fiction podcast created and written by Matthew Broughton, and primarily directed and produced by James Robinson. The show premiered on 9 August 2016, and concluded with its fifth series, Abyss, on 21 December 2020. Each series has its own subtitle, with the first series, originally simply called Tracks, retroactively subtitled Origins. Produced by BBC Cymru Wales, it aired on BBC Radio 4, with some episodes first being made available on the BBC's website, on which the series remains available to listen to.
