The Montecito Picture Company, LLC is a film production company that was founded by Tom Pollock and Ivan Reitman. [2] It is located on the Sony Pictures lot in Culver City, California, United States. Montecito is a city in California in Santa Barbara County.

The company's predecessor was an entertainment production studio Northern Lights Entertainment, owned by Reitman. [1] It originally started off with a deal at PolyGram Filmed Entertainment. [3] Ultimately, the deal was in a dispute after Universal took control of the PolyGram assets [2] and signed a first look deal with DreamWorks Pictures instead. [4] On March 9, 2000, it extended its pact with writer/director Todd Phillips, after the success of the hit movie Road Trip . [5]
After several years at DreamWorks, on February 18, 2009, the company signed a first-look deal with Paramount Pictures. [6] The deal was ended on March 16, 2013; [7] and in 2015 the company moved into offices on the Sony lot. Tom Pollock died in August 2020, and Ivan Reitman died in February 2022.

Ghost Corps, Inc. is an American co-production company formed in March 2015 to oversee the Ghostbusters media franchise and as a stock exchange for the Ghostbusters brand. It is a division of Sony Pictures Entertainment's Columbia Pictures and as of January 2021 currently no longer functions as a stock exchange C-Corporation business but is currently still active as a PR office on the Sony Pictures lot maintaining management of its online pages and productions related to the Ghostbusters brand.
