Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) is an annual trade fair in Indonesia. It is the biggest trade, tourism and investment fair in Indonesia. [1] The fair is held in the month of October. [2] The fair was being held at JIExpo at Kemayoran in Jakarta for more than 30 years, but since 2017 the venue is shifted to ICE at BSD City within Greater Jakarta. [3]

TEI is arranged in a goal to boost export of Indonesian products by increasing market access and diversification of export markets. Along with the exhibition, TEI also present a series of parallel activities encompassing trade, tourism and investment forum, business matching, business counseling, regional discussion, overseas and local trade mission, export Start-Up Competition and talk show.

Indonesia–Russia relations refer to bilateral relations between Indonesia and Russia. Indonesia and the Soviet Union established diplomatic relations in 1950. Russia has an embassy in Jakarta, and Indonesia has an embassy in Moscow along with a consulate general in Saint Petersburg. Both countries are members of the APEC and G-20.

Hungary–Indonesia relations Bilateral relations

Hungary–Indonesia relations refer to bilateral relations between Hungary and Indonesia. The two countries established diplomatic relations in 1955. A Hungarian embassy was opened in Jakarta in 1957. In line to Hungarian "Eastern Opening" policy, and due to Indonesian political weight and market potentials, Hungary considered Indonesia as one of the most influential states in the ASEAN. While Indonesia sees Hungary as a potential market and a strategic entrance to penetrate the markets of Central Europe and Eastern Europe. Hungary has an embassy in Jakarta and honorary consuls in Bandung and Denpasar, while Indonesia has an embassy in Budapest.

Jakarta Fair Trade fair

Jakarta Fair is a fair held annually in Jakarta International Expo Kemayoran, Jakarta, Indonesia, in June and July. It features exhibitions, trade promotions, shopping, music performances, various shows, amusement rides and a food festival. Jakarta Fair is part of a series of events to held to celebrate the capital’s anniversary, which falls on June 22. The Jakarta Fair sees exhibitors from across the country display a whole range of goods and products ranging from specialty food items to traditional handmade arts and crafts. In addition to the many exhibitors, there is also live entertainment including music, dance and cultural performances.

Indonesia–Singapore relations Bilateral relations

Indonesia and Singapore established diplomatic relations ) on 7 September 1967, a month after the formation of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) on 8 August 1967. Indonesia and Singapore are two of the five founding members of ASEAN. Both nations are also members of the Non-Aligned Movement and APEC.

Egypt–Indonesia relations Bilateral relations

Egypt and Indonesia established diplomatic relations in 1947. Both are Muslim-majority countries with significant non-Muslim minorities. Indonesia has an embassy in Cairo and Egypt has an embassy in Jakarta. Both countries are members of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, Non-Aligned Movement, the G20 developing nations and Developing 8 Countries. Egypt was also the first sovereign country to recognise Indonesia's independence; doing so in 1946, three years before its formal, internationally-recognised independence date.

Indonesia–South Korea relations Bilateral relations

Indonesia and South Korea established diplomatic relations in 1973. Both countries share a common vision, values and the will to contribute to the international community as middle powers. Both countries are members of G-20 and APEC. South Korea has an embassy in Jakarta and Indonesia has an embassy in Seoul. According to a 2014 BBC World Service Poll, 48% of Indonesians view South Korea's influence positively, with 27% expressing a negative view. The Chinese Indonesian merchant Chen Yanxiang visited Korea between the 1390s and the 1410s, the first major contact between the two nations.

Indonesia–United Arab Emirates relations Bilateral relations

Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) established diplomatic relations in 1976. The diplomatic relations are important because both share the solidarity as Muslim majority countries. Indonesia has an embassy in Abu Dhabi, while the United Arab Emirates has an embassy in Jakarta. Both countries are members of the World Trade Organization (WTO), The Non-Aligned Movement and Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

Indonesia–Switzerland relations Bilateral relations

Indonesia and Switzerland established diplomatic relations in 1952. In 2010, the heads of state of the two countries agreed to launch negotiations on a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA). Switzerland has named Indonesia as one of seven priority countries for economic development cooperation. Indonesia has an embassy in Bern, while Switzerland has an embassy in Jakarta, also accredited for East Timor and ASEAN.

Indonesia–Qatar relations were officially established in 1976. Both countries are Muslim-majority ones, with Indonesia being the largest. Indonesia has an embassy in Doha, while Qatar has an embassy in Jakarta. Both nations are members of Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

Indonesia–Taiwan relations Bilateral relations

Indonesia–Taiwan relations are foreign relations between Indonesia and Taiwan. Currently, Indonesia does not officially recognize Republic of China (Taiwan) as it adopted One-China Policy; officially recognizing only the People’s Republic of China since 1950. Despite geopolitical constraints, the relations between two countries remain flourished over times, the opportunities for widening and deepening the relations have grown.

Indonesia International Auto Show Indonesian automotive show

The Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) is the largest auto show in Indonesia. It was started in 1986 as the Gaikindo Car Exhibition, then continued as Indonesia International Motor Show. Since 2015, the GIIAS was spun off from the Indonesia International Motor Show and is held annually at Indonesia Convention Exhibition in Tangerang, and also as series in Surabaya, Medan and Makassar.

Jakarta International Expo International expo based in Jakarta, Indonesia

Jakarta International Expo, or JIExpo, is a convention, exhibition and entertainment complex located at Pademangan in north Jakarta, Indonesia. Opened in 2010, it was developed by the Central Cipta Murdaya group. Built in the area of the former Kemayoran Airport. JIExpo recently underwent an expansion from 2016 to 2019, adding an international theatre and convention center.

Indo Defence Expo & Forum Biannual defense industry trade fair in Jakarta, Indonesia

Indo Defence Expo & Forum is a biannual arms and defence technology sales exhibition as well as promotional event for international defense and security equipment manufacturers, which has been held since 2004 at JIExpo, Jakarta, Indonesia. It is the largest exhibition of its kind in Southeast Asia and world calendar event.
