Trans Palangka Raya is a public bus rapid transit system serving city of Palangka Raya in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. As of 2019, the bus served 5 routes and consist of 26 bus stops. [1] Bus operation was suspended by city government during COVID-19 outbreak in the city, but later resumed operation on 8 November 2020. [2]

The bus service is currently free of charge as of 2021 and subsidized by city government. [3] The creation of bus system was initiated by city government to facilitate people of the city to access administration & healthcare services that mostly located in city center. [4] The bus service also operated with a call center and SMS-based info about routes and schedules, in addition to WhatsApp-based info. [5]

Cebu Bus Rapid Transit System

The Cebu Bus Rapid Transit System is a planned mass transit system for Cebu City located within the greater Cebu Metropolitan Area. It is expected to become the first operational bus rapid transit project in the Philippines. Only one line has been planned in detail so far, but scheme developers note the potential to develop a larger network comprising the adjacent cities Lapu-Lapu, Mandaue and Talisay. Dar es Salaam bus rapid transit

Dar es Salaam bus rapid transit is a bus rapid transit system that began operations on 10 May 2016 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The transit system consists of 6 phases and the construction of the first phase began in April 2012 by the Austrian construction company Strabag International GmbH. Construction of the first phase was completed in December 2015 at a total cost of €134 million funded by the African Development Bank, World Bank and the Government of Tanzania. The first phase of the project has a total length of 21.1 kilometers with dedicated bus lanes on three trunk routes with a total of 29 stations. The entire system is operated by The Usafiri salama Dar es Salaam Rapid Transit (UDA-RT) under the surveillance of the Surface and Marine Transport regulatory authority (Sumatra) Currently, the route is serviced by a fleet of 140 Chinese built Golden Dragon buses, providing express and local service for 18 hours daily from 05:00am to 11:00pm.

BRT Banjarbakula Indonesian bus system

BRT Banjarbakula, also informally known as "Tayo bus", is a bus rapid transit (BRT) system serving Greater Banjarmasin metropolitan area, encompassing Banjarmasin, Banjarbaru, and parts of Banjar Regency in Indonesia. It comprises three routes and more than 37 bus stops as of 2019. After several months of trials with free service, it launched on 14 August 2019 to coincide with the celebration of 69 years since the creation of South Kalimantan province. It is one of the most extensive urban transportation systems in Kalimantan. The local government plans to expand the system to 6 routes and a total of 112 bus stops, encompassing the entire Banjar regency, Tanah Laut regency, and Barito Kuala regency; covering the entire metropolitan area with service. The government is also considering handing operations to a private firm in 2021 to boost its development. As of September 2020, recruitment of new drivers for the service was stalled because of the COVID-19 pandemic, hampering route and fleet expansion needed to keep up with demand.
