The vice president of Transnistria was a political position in that unrecognized state. The vice president was the deputy head of state. The position was abolished in 2011. The Vice-President was elected concurrently with the president for a 5-year term through general elections.
The vice president was designated to assume the presidential duties in the event of the latter's incapacity. If the vice president was unable to fulfill these duties, they would be assumed by the chairman of the Supreme Council.
The extent of the vice president's powers was determined by the President of the PMR. Additionally, by virtue of their position, the vice president served as a member of the political coordination council (as outlined in Article 5 of the Law “On the Status of the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic”). The final vice president, Alexander Korolev, also held the position of head of the Administration of the President of the PMR and secretary of the Security Council. [1]
Following amendments to the constitution ratified by the Supreme Court in June 2011, the office of vice president was abolished. [2] However, as per Article 4 of Constitutional Law No. 94-KZID-V of the PMR, the incumbent vice president retained their powers and position until a newly elected President of the PMR assumed office after the enactment of the Constitutional Law. [3] Consequently, upon the inauguration of the newly elected President of the PMR on December 30, 2011, the position of vice president was officially abolished.

Transnistria, officially known as the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (PMR), is a breakaway state internationally recognized as part of Moldova. Transnistria controls most of the narrow strip of land between the Dniester river and the Moldova–Ukraine border, as well as some land on the other side of the river's bank. Its capital and largest city is Tiraspol. Transnistria is officially designated by the Republic of Moldova as the Administrative-Territorial Units of the Left Bank of the Dniester or as Stînga Nistrului.
Transnistria is a region in Eastern Europe that is under the effective control of the Russian-backed Pridnestrovian Moldovan Republic but is recognized by the international community as an administrative unit of Moldova, the Administrative-Territorial Units of the Left Bank of the Dniester. The flag of the Prinestrovian Moldovan Republic is a red-green-red triband, while the Administrative-Territorial Units of the Left Bank of the Dniester use the flag of Moldova.

The anthem of Transnistria, titled "We Sing the Praises of Transnistria", was written by Boris Parmenov, Nicholas Bozhko and Vitaly Pishchenko, and composed by Boris Alexandrovich Alexandrov. The anthem has lyrics in all three official languages of Transnistria: Russian, Romanian, and Ukrainian. They are, however, not all literal translations of one another. The origin of the anthem was from the Russian patriotic song "Long Live our State", a 1943 composition that was one of the proposed songs to be the anthem of the Soviet Union. Boris Alexandrov's composition was, however, rejected in favor of the one submitted by his father, Alexander Alexandrov.
The Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic is the parliament of Transnistria. The unicameral legislature consists of 33 seats, all of which are determined by single mandate constituencies. It is headed by a chairman.
The office of Vice President of Uzbekistan was a political position in Uzbekistan until it was abolished on January 8, 1992. It was the title of the deputy to the President of Uzbekistan. Shukrullo Mirsaidov was the first and only holder of the office from 24 March 1990 to 8 January 1992.

She has been the Deputy Prime Minister for the International Cooperation of the Transnistrian Moldovan Republic and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Transnistrian Moldovan Republic from 24 January 2012 to 2 September 2015. Ph.D. (2012). She became an honoured foreign service officer Transnistrian Moldovan Republic in 2012. She held the rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.
Vadim Nikolayevich Krasnoselsky is a Transnistrian politician who is the 3rd and current President of Transnistria. Previously, he served as a member of the Supreme Council of Transnistria from the 7th district, as 6th Speaker of the Supreme Council (2015–2016) and the 7th Minister of the Interior.
The Ministry of Defense of Transnistria is a government agency of the partially recognized Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. It is the executive body in implementing defense policies in of the Armed Forces of Transnistria. The current Minister of Defense is Major General Oleg Obruchlov.
The Republic Day of Transnistria also known in the West as Independence Day or National Day is the main state holiday in the partially recognized republic of Transnistria. This date is celebrated annually on September 2.
The Tiraspol Suvorov Military School (TrSVU) (Russian: Тираспольское Суворовское военное училище, Romanian: Şcoala militară ”Suvorov”, Ukrainian: Тирасполь Суворовська військова школа) is a military academy and boarding school in the partially recognized Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic that serves as the military school for young adults in the Armed Forces of Transnistria. It is one of many Suvorov Military Schools located in other former Soviet Republics for military cadets. Currently located on Zelinsky Street in Tiraspol, the incumbent officer-in-charge of the school is Sergei Alexandrov.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Transnistria also known as the Ministry of the Interior is an official government agency of the partially recognized Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. It is the executive body in implementing defense policies in of the Armed Forces of Transnistria. It is the successor to the Soviet Department of Internal Affairs Pridnestrovian Moldavian Soviet Socialist Republic (PMSSR) The current Minister of Internal Affairs is Major General Vitaly Neagu.
Major General Alexander Alexeyevich Lukyanenko is a Transnistrian politician who served as the 3rd Minister of Defence of Transnistria from 2012 to 2015 in the government of President Yevgeny Shevchuk.
The Alexander Lebed Military Institute of the Ministry of Defense, is a higher military institution based in Tiraspol that is operated by the military department of the Armed Forces of Transnistria. It is the seniormost educational institution in the armed forces. It is headed by Colonel Igor Dovgulich.

Irina Ivanova Molokanova is a politician and economist, who studied at Odesa National Polytechnic University, graduating in 1980 with qualifications in engineering and economics. She was Minister of Finance for the Pridnestrovian Moldovan Republic on two occasions: from July 2007 to 24 January 2012 in the succeeding governments of Igor Smirnov and Yevgeny Shevchuk, and 11 January 2016 to 29 December 2017 under Shevchuk and Vadim Krasnoselsky. She has held a range of positions in the Transnistrian government, including as Director of the State Reserve Fund from 25 January to 30 November 2012.
The acting president of the Republic of Kazakhstan is a temporary post provided by the Constitution of Kazakhstan. This role is assumed by an individual who fulfills the duties of the president of Kazakhstan in cases of incapacity or vacancy. However, the acting president is more limited in power, as they cannot propose constitutional amendments.
