Visitors to Tajikistan must obtain a visa unless they are citizens of one of the visa-exempt countries, or citizens who may obtain a visa on arrival, or citizens eligible for an e-Visa.

In addition, citizens of China holding a passport endorsed "for public affairs" do not require a visa to enter Tajikistan, for a maximum stay of 30 days. [2]
Citizens of the following countries who are aged 55 and over can enter Tajikistan without a visa for a maximum stay of 14 days: [3]
Holders of diplomatic or official/service passports of Brunei, China, Hungary, India, Iran, North Korea, Pakistan, Palestine, Romania, Singapore, South Korea, Turkey and holders of diplomatic passports only of Jordan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan may enter Tajikistan without a visa. [10] [3]

Tajikistan launched an e-Visa on 1 June 2016. [11]
The e-Visa may be used at any border crossing, and is granted for tourism and business. Along with an e-Visa, visitors can choose to purchase a permit to visit the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region for 20 USD through the same e-Visa application.
Citizens of the following countries and territories may obtain a single or multiple entry e-Visa for 30 or 50 USD for a maximum stay of 60 days within 90 days: [12] [13] [14]
Stateless persons who were citizens of Tajikistan may also obtain an e-Visa.
Citizens of any country may apply for a regular visa online. If the visa application is successful, the visa may be obtained either from the Tajikistan embassy or consulate or on arrival at Dushanbe International Airport. [15]
A special permit is required to visit the regions within the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Province. OVIR permit required (15+5 Tajikistani Somoni) and another special permit (free of charge) is required for Lake Sarez. [16] [17]
Entry and transit is refused to citizens of Kosovo, even if not leaving the aircraft and proceeding by the same flight. Tajikistan also does not recognize the passports of Abkhazia, the Sahrawi Republic, Somaliland, South Ossetia and Transnistria.

The president of Tajikistan is the head of state and de facto head of government of the Republic of Tajikistan. The president heads the executive branch of the country's government and is the commander in chief of the Armed Forces of Tajikistan.
Tourist activities in Uzbekistan range from outdoor activities, such as rock-climbing, to exploration of its archeological and religious history. The Statistical Internet Survey conducted between May 7 and August 27, 2008, found that the majority of those surveyed (39%) visit Uzbekistan due to interest in its architectural and historical sites. The next-largest group (24%) visited Uzbekistan to observe its culture, way of life, and customs.
The Uzbekistan passport, being the property of the Republic of Uzbekistan, is issued to the citizens of Uzbekistan for international travels. An ordinary international passport can be issued to an infant at birth and must be renewed after 2 years, next one for toddlers renewed after 5 years and later every 10 years. The passport could also be changed in case of damage or when the bearer of the passport changed his/her name.
The visa policy of Russia deals with the requirements which a foreign national wishing to enter the Russian Federation must meet to obtain a visa, which is a permit to travel to, enter, and remain in the country. Visa exemptions are based on bilateral or multilateral agreements.

Visitors to Armenia must obtain a visa from one of the Armenian diplomatic missions unless they are citizens of one of the visa-exempt countries, or citizens who may obtain a visa on arrival, or citizens eligible for an e-Visa. Citizens of the Commonwealth of Independent States and citizens of all Eurasian Economic Union and European Union member states may enter Armenia without a visa.

Visa requirements for Bahraini citizens are administrative entry restrictions by the authorities of other states placed on citizens of Bahrain. As of 2024, Bahraini citizens had visa-free or visa on arrival access to 91 countries and territories, ranking the Bahraini passport 59th in the world according to the Visa Restrictions Index.
Visa requirements for Vietnamese citizens are administrative entry restrictions imposed on citizens of Vietnam by the authorities of other states.
Visa requirements for Turkmen citizens are administrative entry restrictions by the authorities of other states placed on citizens of Turkmenistan. As of 27 April 2023, Turkmen citizens had visa-free or visa on arrival access to 53 countries and territories, ranking the Turkmen passport 93rd in terms of travel freedom according to the Henley Passport Index.

Visitors to Uzbekistan must obtain a visa from one of the Uzbekistan diplomatic missions or online unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries.
Visitors to Uruguay must obtain a visa from one of the Uruguayan diplomatic missions unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries.
In accordance with the law, citizens of all countries require a visa to enter Turkmenistan unless they have special passports. To obtain a tourist visa for Turkmenistan, all foreign citizens must supply an invitation letter issued by a travel agency licensed in Turkmenistan.
Citizens of all countries require a travel visa to visit Afghanistan. The only exemptions are travelers born in Afghanistan, including those born to at least one Afghan citizen parent or whose parent was born in Afghanistan.
Visitors to Nicaragua must obtain a visa from one of the Nicaraguan diplomatic missions, unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries or countries that can obtain a visa on arrival. All visitors must hold a passport valid for 6 months.

The Military Brass Band of the Commandant Regiment of the Ministry of Defense of Tajikistan, is the official regimental military band of the commandant regiment of the Ministry of Defence of Tajikistan. Being subordinate to the Ministry of Defence, it is the seniormost military band in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan.
