The Volkswagen ID. Buggy is an electric dune buggy concept revealed by German automobile manufacturer Volkswagen at the 2019 Geneva International Motor Show.
The Volkswagen ID. Buggy concept was revealed at the Geneva International Motor Show on March 7, 2019 in Geneva, Switzerland. It is a retro-styled 2-seat, roofless, and doorless electric dune buggy, inspired by other Volkswagen Beetle-based dune buggies from the 1960s such as the Meyers Manx. [1] [2] [3] The ID. Buggy was designed by Volkswagen's head designer Klaus Zyciora. [4]
The Volkswagen ID. Buggy concept is built on Volkswagen's MEB platform for electric vehicles. It uses a 62 kWh lithium-ion battery pack and two axle-mounted motors with a total output of 201 horsepower, 250 lb⋅ft (340 N⋅m) of torque, and a 0-60 mph (97 km/h) time of 7.2 seconds. [5] The ID. Buggy has an estimated Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicles Test Procedure range of 155 mi (249 km). [2] The ID. Buggy has a flat aluminum unibody and 9.4 in (240 mm) of ground clearance. [5]
The Volkswagen ID. Buggy, designed for off-roading, is finished in a waterproof fern green paint, uses 18-inch rims with BF Goodrich All-Terrain TA tires, a rear targa bar, and two steel tow hooks on the front and rear bumpers for the event the vehicle gets stuck in mud or sand. [5]

The Volkswagen Up is a city car produced by the Volkswagen Group from 2011 to 2023. It was unveiled at the 2011 International Motor Show Germany (IAA). Production of the Up started with the model year of 2012, in December 2011 at the Volkswagen Plant in Bratislava, Slovakia. It is part of the New Small Family (NSF) series of models, alongside the SEAT Mii and Škoda Citigo which are rebadged versions of the Up, with slightly different front and rear fascias. The SEAT and Škoda versions were manufactured in the same factory, before being withdrawn from sale in 2021 and 2020 respectively. Production of the Up ended in October 2023. A battery electric version, called E-up, was launched in autumn 2013.

The Volkswagen Beetle, also sold as the Volkswagen Käfer, Volkswagen Coccinelle, Volkswagen Maggiolino, and Volkswagen Fusca in some countries, is a small family car manufactured and marketed by Volkswagen introduced in 2011 for the 2012 model year, as the successor to the New Beetle launched in 1997. It features a lower profile while retaining an overall shape recalling the original Volkswagen Type 1 Beetle. One of Volkswagen's goals with the model was to give it a more aggressive appearance while giving it some stylistic aspects reminiscent of the Type 1. This was an attempt to distance the new model from the New Beetle, produced from 1997 to 2011, which never approached the success of the first Beetle.
The SEAT Ateca is a compact crossover SUV (C-segment) manufactured by Spanish automaker SEAT. The brand's first SUV offering, the Ateca is built on the Volkswagen Group MQB A1 platform and sits in the C-SUV segment, between the Arona and Tarraco within SEAT's crossover SUV lineup. It is the first production car to utilize the MEB platform, and the first model of the ID. series. It was unveiled on 9 September 2019 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, after being first shown as the I.D. concept car at the 2016 Paris Motor Show. Deliveries to retail customers began in Germany in September 2020.
The Volkswagen ID. Buzz is a battery electric minivan produced by German manufacturer Volkswagen. Based on the dedicated battery electric MEB platform, it is the first production electric minivan from Volkswagen and part of the Volkswagen ID. series. The design of the ID. Buzz is inspired by the Volkswagen Type 2 (T1) Microbus.

It is used in models of Audi, Cupra, Škoda, and Volkswagen, along with Ford through partnership. The production version of the ID.4 debuted in September 2020 as the first fully-electric crossover SUV under the Volkswagen brand, while the coupe-shaped variant of the ID.4 is marketed as the Volkswagen ID.5 and was revealed in November 2021.
The Volkswagen e-Beetle is a modified automobile first shown in October 2019 at IAA in Frankfurt. A donor Volkswagen Type 1303 Super Beetle convertible was updated by replacing the original petrol drivetrain with the electric motor, transmission, and battery used in the e-Up. Parts were taken from the regular Volkswagen production line, and installed by specialist partner eClassics in Renningen after consulting with Volkswagen Group Components.
The Volkswagen ID.6 is a battery electric mid-size crossover SUV with three-row seating produced by Volkswagen in China from 2021. It is based on the MEB platform, and part of the ID. series electric vehicle line-up. In China, the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture will produce and market the ID.6 Crozz, whereas SAIC-Volkswagen will build and market the ID.6 X with a slightly altered styling. As of April 2022, it is the second largest vehicle of the Volkswagen ID. series, and the second largest built on the MEB platform.
The Cupra Tavascan is an battery electric compact crossover SUV (C-segment) to be produced by Volkswagen Anhui, a joint venture between Volkswagen (75%) and Chinese company JAC Motors (25%), and sold by Cupra, a subsidiary of SEAT.
The Cupra Born is a battery electric compact car/small family car (C-segment) marketed by SEAT through its performance-oriented Cupra marque. Initially unveiled as the SEAT el-Born concept in 2019, the production car was revealed in May 2021 as the Cupra Born. The Born is based on the Volkswagen Group MEB platform and has been manufactured at the same plant in Zwickau, Germany, as the MEB-based Volkswagen ID.3. The car is named after a neighbourhood in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.
The Renault 5 E-Tech is a B-segment battery electric car by French manufacturer Renault that will begin production in 2024. Inspired by the original Renault 5 in styling, the 5 E-Tech was previewed by a concept car shown in January 2021, with the production model being officially unveiled at the Geneva International Motor Show in February 2024.
