WWE Afterburn is an American syndicated television program which recaps events taking place on WWE's weekly flagship program, SmackDown . Along with Bottom Line , it replaced WWE's previous syndicated highlight show, Jakked. The show ran from May 2002 until September 2005 domestically, broadcasting 172 episodes domestically before being removed from syndication. The show continues to run in some international markets such as South Africa, Italy, Germany, Spain and South Asia.

International variations

Malaysia, and South Africa

In Malaysia, Afterburn debuted on May 6, 2011. It aired every Monday at 10 pm on Astro SuperSport 4, but now on Astro Prima every Thursday at 11 pm. The show airs on eKasi+ in South Africa on Fridays at 10 pm.

Australia

In Australia, WWE Afterburn debuted in 2008 on Channel Nine. Afterburn was the only free-to-air WWE show in Australia at the time, with Raw , SmackDown , NXT and Superstars all airing on Fox8. Afterburn had a time slot 1 pm every Sunday, before being moved to 12 am every Tuesday. WWE Afterburn aired 132 episodes in Australia before being removed from syndication on July 28, 2010. Afterburn was replaced with a similar show titled WWE Experience starting November 4 however in December 2014, Afterburn returned and was broadcast on 7mate. [2] [3]

WWE Superstars, or simply Superstars, is an American professional wrestling television program that was produced by WWE that originally aired on WGN America in the United States and later broadcast on the WWE Network. It debuted on April 16, 2009 and ended its domestic broadcasting on April 7, 2011. After the final domestic television broadcast, the show moved to an Internet broadcast format while maintaining a traditional television broadcast in international markets. The show featured mid-to-low card WWE Superstars in a format similar to the former shows Heat and Velocity which served the same purpose. "Enhancement talent" bouts also happened often. Big names such as John Cena, Randy Orton, The Undertaker, and Triple H appeared on the show at its beginning.

WWE Bottom Line is an American syndicated television program which recaps the events which takes place on WWE's weekly flagship program, Raw. It replaced WWE's previous syndicated highlight show, WWF LiveWire. Its name is a reference to the same catchphrase used by WWE legend, Stone Cold Steve Austin.

WWE Experience is a syndicated American television program that was produced by WWE which mainly recaps events taking place on Raw and SmackDown. The show ran from May 2004 until September 2005 in the US, broadcasting 64 episodes domestically before its cancellation. The show continued to run in international markets, with it being televised in Mexico as well as in Asian, European and in some African countries. The final episode of Experience aired in January 2020 internationally, and the show was cancelled.

Scott Stanford is an American entertainment host, news/sports anchor and commentator. Stanford is currently a studio Host for WWE and can also be seen co-hosting The Suki & Scott Show on digital and broadcast platforms. Scott can also be heard anchoring morning newscasts on 1010/92.3FM WINS in NYC. Scott was also anchoring sports at CBS Sports HQ. Scott was recently the main sports anchor on PIX11 NY as well as co-host along with Sukanya Krishnan on the WPIX11 Morning Show. Along with Tamsen Fadal, he was co-anchor of WPIX-TV in New York City's weeknight 5pm and 10pm newscasts until July 2014. Stanford is also a host for This Week in WWE and Afterburn on the WWE Network. Scott can also be heard occasionally hosting on 77 WABC Radio in New York and doing stand up comedy for various charity organizations.
