The 2010 Saskatchewan Roughriders season was the 53rd season for the team in the Canadian Football League. The Roughriders attempted to win their fourth Grey Cup championship, but they lost to the Montreal Alouettes. The Roughriders celebrated their 100th Anniversary this year, which included wearing retro black, silver and red uniforms, having a documentary made of the franchise and having the Canadian Mint release a specialized Roughrider loonie. The Saskatchewan Roughriders are a professional Canadian football team based in Regina, Saskatchewan. The Roughriders compete in the Canadian Football League (CFL) as a member club of the league's West Division.
Andrew Fantuz is a former professional Canadian football wide receiver. Fantuz spent the majority of his professional career with the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played for the Riders for six seasons after he was drafted by them in the first round of the 2006 CFL Draft. He then played six seasons for the Tiger-Cats. Fantuz was also signed by the Chicago Bears in 2011. He played CIS football for the Western Ontario Mustangs.
Luc Mullinder is a former professional Canadian football defensive end who played for nine seasons in the Canadian Football League. Mullinder was originally drafted 31st overall by the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the 2004 CFL Draft and spent the first eight years of his career with the team. He has also played for the Montreal Alouettes and Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He attended Michigan State on a football scholarship.
The 2007 Saskatchewan Roughriders finished in second place in the West Division with a 12–6 record, which was their highest finish since 1988 when they also finished 2nd. The Roughriders won their third Grey Cup championship after playing the Winnipeg Blue Bombers for the title.
Tajiddin M. Smith-Wilson is a former professional gridiron football wide receiver. He played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League. He was signed by the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2008. He played college football at Syracuse and Bakersfield College.
Nuvraj Singh Bassi is a former defensive tackle in the Canadian Football League. He was drafted 43rd overall in the 2010 CFL Draft by the Lions. He played college football for the Oregon Ducks.
Maurice Lloyd is a former professional Canadian football linebacker who played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League. After spending three seasons with the Roughriders, he signed with the Eskimos and spent two seasons with that team. He sat out the 2011 season before re-signing with Saskatchewan. He played college football at UConn.
Chris Getzlaf is a Canadian former professional football slotback who played in the Canadian Football League (CFL) from 2007 to 2017. He was drafted in the fifth round of the 2007 CFL Draft, 33rd overall, by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, and was later traded that season to the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He has also been a member of the Edmonton Eskimos. Prior to turning pro, Getzlaf played with the junior team Prairie Thunder and the collegiate team Regina Rams in his hometown of Regina, Saskatchewan.
Matt O'Meara is a former professional Canadian football guard who played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League. He was signed on for two years by the Roughriders as the third overall selection in the 2005 CFL Draft, with his position as offensive lineman on the injury reserve list for the team. He played CIS Football at his alumni McMaster University, his position being offensive tackle. While at McMaster University, he became the 2003/2004 OUA First Team All-Star. He played in three Yates Cup championships before he signed on with the Roughriders in 2005.
Rob Bagg is a retired professional Canadian football wide receiver. He played 11 seasons for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL) from 2008 to 2018. He is a member of the 101st Grey Cup winning team and was named a West Division All-Star in 2014. Bagg played CIS football for the Queen's Gaels football team.
Weston Dressler is an American former Canadian football slotback. Dressler last played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Prior to his being signed by the Blue Bombers organization in 2016, he had a brief stint with the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League, having been given playing time during the 2014 preseason. Otherwise, he spent the bulk of this career playing with Saskatchewan Roughriders, having been signed as a street free agent in 2008.
Drew Willy is a former American professional Canadian football quarterback. He was signed by the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2009. He played college football at Buffalo. Willy has also been a member of the Indianapolis Colts, Las Vegas Locomotives, New York Jets, San Diego Chargers, and most notably the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Toronto Argonauts, and Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League (CFL).
Naaman I. Roosevelt is a former football wide receiver and currently an Offensive Assistant for the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He played college football at University at Buffalo. He has been a member of the Buffalo Bills, Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions, Saskatchewan Roughriders, Montreal Alouettes and Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
The 2010 CFL season is the 57th season of modern-day Canadian football. Officially, it is the 53rd Canadian Football League season. Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton hosted the 98th Grey Cup on November 28 when the Montreal Alouettes became the first team to repeat as Grey Cup Champions in 13 years, defeating the Saskatchewan Roughriders, 21–18. The league announced on its Twitter page on January 29, 2010 that the season would start on July 1, 2010. As of 2021 this is the most recent CFL regular season to start in July.

Bakari Grant is a former Canadian football wide receiver. He was signed by the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent in 2010. Grant played college football at UC Davis. He has also been a member of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Saskatchewan Roughriders.
Brett Lauther is a professional Canadian football placekicker for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Holds the highest field goal percentage in Saskatchewan Roughriders History.
Derel Walker is a Canadian football wide receiver for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was named a CFL All-Star in 2015 and 2016 and received the CFL's Most Outstanding Rookie Award in 2015. He is a Grey Cup champion after winning the 103rd Grey Cup with the Edmonton Eskimos in his rookie year. He previously attended Texas A&M University where he played college football for the Aggies.
Jeffrey Ali Knox Jr. is a professional Canadian football linebacker who is a free agent. He made his professional debut in 2015 with the Saskatchewan Roughriders after going undrafted in the 2014 NFL Draft. He has also been a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Washington Redskins, Tennessee Titans, Ottawa Redblacks, and Toronto Argonauts.
