The A10 is one of the major motorways in Belgium, connecting Brussels and Ostend (the Belgian coast), via Aalst, Ghent and Bruges. It is part of the European route E40. [1]

As the oldest motorway in Belgium, construction of the motorway began in 1937.[ citation needed ]

It generally parallels the N10 Route Nationale, but deviates significantly from the older N10 between Paris and Tours and between Poitiers and Bordeaux. The closest Routes Nationale to those sections are the N20 from Paris to Orléans, the N152 from Orléans to Tours, the N11 from Poitiers to Niort, the N150 from Niort to Saintes, and the N137 from Saintes to Bordeaux.

The A83 autoroute is a motorway in France. It is in the departments of Pays-de-la-Loire and Poitou-Charentes operated by ASF. It connects Nantes to Niort via Fontenay-le-Comte. The motorway has a junction with the A10 at Niort which gives access to the north and to Bordeaux connection. The A83 forms part of the Autoroute des Estuaires. The total length is 152.5 km. It is also part of the European route E3.

The A10 motorway is a motorway in the Netherlands. This motorway is the ring road around the city of Amsterdam. It has a length of 32 km (20 mi). Five other motorways connect to the A10: motorway A8 at interchange Coenplein (north), motorway A5 at interchange Coenplein (south), A4 at interchange De Nieuwe Meer, A2 at interchange Amstel, and A1 at interchange Watergraafsmeer. Part of the A10 is the Coentunnel, crossing the Noordzeekanaal. This twin tube tunnel was notorious for traffic jams for decades and another two tubes have been built. These new tubes opened on 13 May 2013 and the old tubes were closed for extensive renovation. On 21 July 2014 the old tubes were reopened after completing the renovations and all four tubes became be available for traffic.

It is 70 km long, with a total cost of 420 million euro, which is financed in proportion of 85% from the European Union funds, the rest of 15% being insured from the state budget. The motorway's construction was divided into four lots: works for lots 3 and 4 began on 20 May 2014, whereas for the other two lots began in 2015.

The N23 is a short national highway in the Brussels Capital Region, Belgium. It is one of the busiest roads within the capital with daily gridlock during the rush hours.
