Adele Tan Qian Xiu OLY (born 31 March 1999) is a Singaporean Olympic shooter. [1] She competed in the women's 10 metre air rifle event at the 2020 Summer Olympics. [2]
Tan started practicing shooting at the age of 12 and was selected by the Singapore Sports School after she won a shooting competition. [3]
In 2017,she finished fifth in the women's 10m air rifle at the Asian Shooting Championships in Wako,Japan. At the 2020 H&N Cup in Munich,she won a gold medal in women's 10m air rifle event scoring of 252.7 points and setting a new national record in the process. [4] [5]
In May 2021,the Singapore Shooting Federation announced that Tan would represent Singapore at the women's 10m air rifle at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo after an 18-month long Olympic Selection Trial where she emerged First. During the competition which was held on 24 July 2021 at the Asaka Shooting Range,she attained 21st position with a score of 625.3,making history by achieving Singapore’s best finish in the Olympic Games. In 2023,she graduated from the National University of Singapore. [7]
Nino Salukvadze is a Georgian sport shooter. She is a nine-time Olympian and has won medals on three occasions. At age 19 and competing for the Soviet Union at the 1988 Summer Olympics,she won a gold medal in the women's 25-metre sporting pistol competition and silver in the women's 10-metre air pistol competition. At the 2008 Summer Olympics,competing for Georgia,she added to her tally with a bronze medal,also in the 10-metre air pistol event.

This article details the qualifying phase for shooting at the 2020 Summer Olympics. 300 quota places for the Games are entitled to the shooters coming from their respective NOCs,based on the results at designated ISSF supervised Championships subjected to the ISSF rules from September 1,2018,to June 6,2021. Host nation Japan has been guaranteed twelve quota places with one in each of the individual events. Four quota places will be awarded to the shooters competing in each of the mixed team events,while the highest-ranked shooter,who has not qualified yet or whose NOC does not have a berth in any of the twelve individual events,will obtain a direct Olympic quota place through the World Rankings. The remaining twenty-four quota places are available to the eligible NOCs under the Tripartite Commission Invitation,with two in each of the individual event,to attain a maximum number of 360.

After the games she took home 6 medals from the Junior World Championships and the 10 meter air rifle championship from the 2021 Pan American Games. Tucker is right handed and is right eye dominant.
