Mpumalanga is one of the nine multi-member constituencies of the National Assembly of South Africa, the lower house of the Parliament of South Africa, the national legislature of South Africa. The constituency was established as Eastern Transvaal in 1994 when the National Assembly was established by the Interim Constitution following the end of Apartheid. It was renamed Mpumalanga in 1999. It is conterminous with the province of Mpumalanga. The constituency currently elects 15 of the 400 members of the National Assembly using the closed party-list proportional representation electoral system. At the 2019 general election it had 1,951,776 registered electors.

Michael Collen Sedibe is a South African politician who is currently a Member of the Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature and the provincial leader of the legislature's official opposition party, the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF). He joined the EFF in 2013 after he was expelled from the African National Congress and he was first elected to the provincial legislature in the 2014 general election. In September 2022, he was elected to a third term as the EFF's Provincial Chairperson in Mpumalanga.

She formerly represented her party, the African National Congress, in the National Assembly from 2014 to 2019. Before that, she was a Member of the Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature and from 2009 to 2014 she served in the Mpumalanga Executive Council under Premier David Mabuza.
Thembisile Ellen Nwedamutswu was a South African politician and civil servant who served as Limpopo's Member of the Executive Council for Education from May 2014 until her death in January 2015. She was first elected to the Limpopo Provincial Legislature in the 2014 general election, which took place shortly after she was elected Provincial Treasurer of the Limpopo branch of the African National Congress. Before the 2014 election, she was chief executive officer of the Independent Development Trust for ten years, and she also formerly worked in national and provincial public administration.
Fana Vincent "Fidel" Mlombo is a South African politician and trade unionist who has represented the African National Congress (ANC) in the Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature since August 2016. He was formerly the Provincial Secretary of the Mpumalanga branch of the Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) from 2009 to 2016, and he has also served in the provincial executive of the South African Communist Party (SACP).
Nomsa Sammy Mtsweni is a South African politician who has represented the African National Congress (ANC) in the Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature and the National Assembly, including as a Member of the Mpumalanga Executive Council from 2004 to 2007 and from 2014 to 2016. Jabulani Lukas Mahlangu is a South African politician who represented the African National Congress (ANC) in the Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature and both houses of the South African Parliament from 1994 to 2019. He also served on the Mpumalanga Executive Council from 2004 to 2010 under Premiers Thabang Makwetla and David Mabuza. Most recently, Mahlangu chaired the National Assembly's Portfolio Committee on Telecommunications and Postal Services until the 2019 general election, in which he did not seek re-election.

Before that, she served in the Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature from 1994 to 2009, including as a Member of the Executive Council (MEC) from 1999 to 2009. She served in Premier Ndaweni Mahlangu's government as MEC for Social Services from 1999 to 2003 and as MEC for Health from 2003 to 2004, and then in Premier Thabang Makwetla's government as MEC for Finance from 2004 to 2008 and as MEC for Education from 2008 to 2009.
Mziwamadoda Uppington Kalako is a South African politician who represented the African National Congress (ANC) in the National Assembly from 1999 to 2009 and from 2014 to 2019. He was elected in the 1999 general election and re-elected in 2004. After a hiatus from the legislature, he returned in the 2014 general election, ranked second on the ANC's provincial party list for the Western Cape. He also served as the ANC's whip in the Portfolio Committee on Communications and Digital Technologies from 2014 to 2015.
Nkosinathi Benson Fihla is a South African politician and former anti-apartheid activist who represented the African National Congress (ANC) in the National Assembly from 1994 to 2013. He subsequently served as Mayor of Nelson Mandela Bay Metropolitan Municipality from March 2013 until May 2015. Fihla first joined the ANC in 1954 through its Youth League and he was imprisoned on Robben Island from 1964 to 1978 for his work with Umkhonto we Sizwe.
Ndawoyakhe Wilson Ngcobo is a South African politician who served in the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Legislature from 1999 to 2006 and from 2009 to 2014. In the interim, he served briefly in the National Assembly from 2006 to 2009. He was a member of the Democratic Party (DP), later the Democratic Alliance (DA), until September 2005, when he crossed the floor to join the African National Congress (ANC). In 2015, he left the ANC to establish the National Religious Freedom Party, a KwaZulu-Natal-based party of which Ngcobo is president.
