Dominici was a progressive metal band formed in 2005 by former Dream Theater vocalist Charlie Dominici.
The band's only released work to date is the O3 Trilogy, a series of three concept albums about the story of a terrorist sleeper cell coming to the United States and falling in love with the country. Dominici was an opening act for three Dream Theater "Chaos in Motion Tour" concerts that were held in Croatia, Hungary, and Austria.
In 2011 Charlie Dominici stated on his Facebook account that Dominici the band was returning to strength, but he also mentioned in the comments of the post that if people wanted to see them live or releasing another CD, then fans should spread the word about them, saying "hardly anyone knows about us". [1] Dominici has been inactive since this time. On November 17, 2023, it was announced that Charlie Dominici had died at the age of 72. [2]

Dream Theater is an American progressive metal band formed in 1985 under the name Majesty by John Petrucci, John Myung and Mike Portnoy — all natives of Long Island, New York — while they attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. They subsequently dropped out of their studies to concentrate further on the band that would eventually become Dream Theater. Days of the New was an American rock band from Charlestown, Indiana, formed in 1995. The band later relocated to Louisville, Kentucky. They consisted of vocalist/guitarist Travis Meeks and a variety of supporting musicians. They are best known for the hit singles "Touch, Peel and Stand", "The Down Town", "Shelf in the Room", and "Enemy", as well as radio hits "Weapon and the Wound", "Hang On To This" and "Die Born". "Touch, Peel and Stand" was named, ″Greatest of All-Time Mainstream Rock Song″ by Billboard Magazine.
Images and Words is the second studio album by American progressive metal band Dream Theater, released on July 7, 1992, through Atco Records. It is the first Dream Theater release to feature James LaBrie on vocals. Since its release, the album has maintained its position as the band's most commercially successful studio album, and the song "Pull Me Under" has the distinction of being the only Top 10 hit the band has had to date. This particular song has also had more recent success as it has appeared in the 2008 video game Guitar Hero World Tour.
Explosions in the Sky is an American post-rock band from Texas. The band is a quartet, composed of drummer Chris Hrasky and guitarist/keyboardists Michael James, Munaf Rayani and Mark Smith. The band originally played under the name Breaker Morant, then changed to the current name in 1999. They primarily play with three electric guitars and a drum kit, although James will at times exchange his electric guitar for a bass guitar and all three guitarists also add additional keyboard and synthesizer parts. The band later added a fifth musician to their live performances, largely to accommodate for these bass and keyboard parts – a role currently held by multi-instrumentalist Jay Demko. The band has released eight studio albums to date; their most recent, End, was released in September 2023.
When Dream and Day Unite is the debut studio album by American progressive metal band Dream Theater, released on March 6, 1989, through Mechanic/MCA Records. The album is composed mostly of material that originally surfaced during the band's early years as Majesty, and it is the only Dream Theater album to be recorded with their full original lineup.
