Dujon Dujonar [lower-alpha 1] is a 1999 Bangladeshi romantic film directed by Abu Sayeed Khan and produced by Mosharraf Hossain Tula under the banner of SM Films International. It features Shakib Khan and Sadika Parvin Popy. Also Mehedi Hassan, Moyuri, Wasimul Bari Rajib, Sadek Bachchu, Ahmed Sharif played supporting roles in the film. [1]

The film was released in cinemas on October 29, 1999. The music was composed by Shouquat Ali Imon, cinematography handled by Shirajul Islam Shiraj, choreographed by Imdadul Haque Khokon, Masum Babul and Aziz Reza and editing was by Amzad Hossain. It is marked as the second released film of Shakib Khan. [2]

The soundtrack of the film is composed by Shouquat Ali Imon and lyrics penned by Kabir Bakul and Moniruzzaman Monir respectively. Its title track is sung by renowned singer of LRB band Ayub Bachchu and Doly Shaontoni. The film has seven songs, although which not concluded in the soundtrack. [6]

Legacy

Sadika Parvin Popy is second heroin of Shakib Khan in terms of released. They acted as a pair for the first time in this film. [2]  The first rumors about their relationship started during filming.  At that time the buzz about them became a hot topic of discussion in the industry. [7] [8] [9]

Khan and Popy performed a song titled "Amra Shudhu Dujon Dujonar" from the film at a stage show at the Golden Jubilee celebrations to mark the 50th anniversary of Charfasson Govt. College, Barisal. [10] [11]
