Gerald Williams (born September 8, 1963) is an American former professional football player who was a defensive lineman in the National Football League (NFL) for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Carolina Panthers, and the Green Bay Packers. He played college football for the Auburn Tigers, earning All-SEC honors in 1986. He was selected in the second round of the 1986 NFL draft. [1] He also spent several years as a college and pro scout for the Panthers. Williams spent the 2009 season as tight ends coach for the Division II Catawba Indians located in Salisbury, NC.
