Golf at the 2018 Asian Games was held at Pondok Indah Golf Course, Jakarta, Indonesia, from 23 to 26 August 2018 and featured four events: the men's individual and team events and women's individual and team events. [1]

Contents

The event was open to amateur players only. Several national golf associations complained to the Court of Arbitration for Sport that Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Macau and Uzbekistan had possibly entered professional golfers, but the CAS ruled that none of the players were professional. [2]

The Asian Handball Federation (AHF) is the governing body of handball and beach handball in Asia. It has 44 member countries, mostly located on the Asian continent, but excludes the transcontinental countries with territory in both Europe and Asia – Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russian Federation and Turkey – which are instead members of European Handball Federation (EHF). Golf was contested at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar. Men's and women's individual and team events were played at the Doha Golf Club over four rounds from 8 to 11 December. The men played at 7181 yards with a par 72. The Ladies played at 5751 yards with a par 73.

Athletics was contested from October 7 to October 14 at the 2002 Asian Games in Busan Asiad Main Stadium, Busan, South Korea. A total of 459 athletes from 39 nations took part in the competition. Afghanistan, Bhutan, Brunei, Laos and Maldives were the only nations without a representative in the events.

Swimming at the 2010 Asian Games was held at the Aoti Aquatics Centre in Guangzhou, China from November 13 to 18, 2010. This Aquatics discipline had 38 long course events: 19 for males and 19 for females.

Wushu was contested by both men and women at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, China from November 13 to 17, 2010. All events were held at Nansha Gymnasium.

The 2019 Asian Table Tennis Championships were held in Yogyakarta, Indonesia from 15 to 22 September 2019. Around 128 males and 100 females table tennis players competed in the singles, doubles and team events.
