Brian Charles Lara,is a Trinidadian former international cricketer,widely acknowledged as one of the greatest batsmen of all time. He topped the Test batting rankings on several occasions and holds several cricketing records,including the record for the highest individual score in first-class cricket,with 501 not out for Warwickshire against Durham at Edgbaston in 1994,which is the only quintuple-hundred in first-class cricket history. As captain,Lara led the West Indies team to win the 2004 ICC Champions Trophy,the first time the team won any major ICC trophy since winning the 1979 Cricket World Cup.
Courtney Andrew Walsh OJ is a former Jamaican cricketer who represented the West Indies from 1984 to 2001,captaining the West Indies in 22 Test matches. He is a fast bowler and considered one of the all-time greats,best known for a remarkable opening bowling partnership along with fellow West Indian Curtly Ambrose for several years. Walsh played 132 Tests and 205 ODIs for the West Indies and took 519 and 227 wickets respectively. He shared 421 Test wickets with Ambrose in 49 matches. He held the record of most Test wickets from 2000,after he broke the record of Kapil Dev. This record was later broken in 2004 by Shane Warne. He was the first bowler to reach 500 wickets in Test cricket. His autobiography is entitled "Heart of the Lion". Walsh was named one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 1987. In October 2010,he was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame. He was appointed as the Specialist Bowling Coach of Bangladesh Cricket Team in August 2016.
The Queen's Park Oval is a sports stadium in Port of Spain,Trinidad and Tobago,used mostly for cricket matches. It opened in 1896. Privately owned by the Queen's Park Cricket Club,it is currently the second largest capacity cricket ground in the West Indies with seating for about 20,000.
Philip Verant Simmons is a Trinidadian cricket coach and former player. He played international cricket for the West Indies from 1987 to 1999 as an opening batsman and right-arm medium pace bowler. He excelled in the One Day International (ODI) format and represented the West Indies at three Cricket World Cups.
Jerome Everton Taylor is a Jamaican cricketer who has played as a fast bowler for the West Indies. Taylor eventually picked up 100 wickets for the Windies in both tests and odis. During 2017 he reversed an initial decision to retire from international cricket. Taylor has also featured for Jamaica,English sides Somerset,Leicestershire and Sussex,CPL teams St Lucia Zouks and Jamaica Tallawahs and IPL sides Pune Warriors and Mumbai Indians in his cricketing career. Taylor was a member of the West Indies team that won the 2016 T20 World Cup. He is the only bowler to have ever taken a hat-trick in a Champions Trophy match,which he did in the 2006 tournament against Australia,and that was the first hat-trick taken by a West Indian bowler in the ODI format.
Daren Ganga is a former Trinidadian cricketer. He was a right-handed top order batsman and part-time right-arm off spinner. He was named the 2006 West Indies Players' Association 'Test player of the year',Ganga captained the Windies' youth,A and senior teams together with Trinidad and Tobago. Ganga is also the most successful captain ever,with four titles,in West Indian List A tournaments.
Denesh Ramdin is a Trinidadian cricketer who plays as a right-handed wicketkeeper-batsman. Ramdin formerly captained the West Indies,Guyana Amazon Warriors,Trinidad and Tobago and the Combined Campuses and Colleges. He was a member of the West Indies team that won both the 2012 T20 World Cup and the 2016 T20 World Cup.
The Trinidad and Tobago cricket team,or officially the Trinidad and Tobago Red Force,is the representative cricket team of the country of Trinidad and Tobago. The team competes under the franchise name,Trinidad and Tobago Red Force in the Cricket West Indies' Professional Cricket League which comprises both the Regional Four Day Competition and the Regional Super50. The Regional Four Day Competition,formerly known as the Shell Shield,Red Stripe,Busta and Carib Beer Cup,is the West Indies's first-class cricket competition that's run by Cricket West Indies. In the 2013–2014 season the winner of the tournament was awarded the WICB President's Trophy while the winners of the knockout competition were awarded the George Headley/Everton Weekes trophy. In a few previous seasons the winners of the tournament were awarded the Headley/Weekes trophy. On from the 2016–17 season,the Competition was sponsored by Digicel and was known as the Digicel Four Day Championship. Since 2019–20,the competition has been renamed as the West Indies Championship.
The 2005–06 West Indian cricket season includes all domestic cricket matches played by senior teams with first-class status in the West Indies between October 2005 and March 2006,and also the international feats of the West Indies team,who is not scheduled to play any home games during this period but are to play home matches during April,May and June 2006. The season began on 2005-10-03 with the first matches of the one-day KFC Cup and is scheduled to last until 2006-03-19 when England A depart after their tour which will include one-day and first-class matches against the West Indies A team. The West Indies will not play any home Tests during their home season,but they have toured Australia,and toured New Zealand in February and March,immediately after the conclusion of the 2005-06 Carib Beer Cup,the first-class competition.

Deryck Lance Murray is a former West Indies cricketer. A wicketkeeper and right-handed batsman,Murray kept wicket to the West Indian fast bowling attacks of the 1970s;his glovework effected 189 Test dismissals and greatly enhanced the potency of the bowling attack.
Charles Allan Davis is a former West Indian cricketer who played in fifteen Test matches between 1968 and 1973. Davis started his first-class cricket career at the age of 17,playing for Trinidad and Tobago. After a good Shell Shield season in 1968 Davis was selected for the West Indies. The highlight of his career was a home series against India,in which he scored 529 runs in four Tests at the average of 132.25. He was also a useful bowler,taking 63 wickets at first-class level. His Test career ended while the West Indies were in transition,and the arrival of newer players accounted for any place for Davis in the side.
Inshan Ali was a West Indian international cricketer who played in 12 Test matches from 1971 to 1977.
Robert Christopher Haynes is a former West Indian international cricketer who played eight One Day Internationals (ODIs) between 1989 and 1991. Haynes played domestically for Jamaica and later coached the Jamaican side between 1999 and 2006 before being appointed as a selector for the side.
Stephanie Judith Power is a Trinidadian former cricketer who played as a wicket-keeper and right-handed batter West Indies cricketer. Nikita O'Brien Miller is a West Indian cricketer who plays international cricket for the West Indies and domestic cricket for Jamaica. He is a slow left-arm orthodox bowler and lower-order batsman. He was the leading wicket taker in the 2007–08 Carib Beer Challenge and in June 2008 he won his first One Day International cap with the West Indies. The following year he made his Test debut for a weakened West Indies team during a contract dispute.
Ralph Godfrey Gosein was a West Indian cricket umpire. He umpired 25 Test matches between 1965 and 1978.
Darren Michael Bravo is a Trinidadian Cricketer who plays international cricket for the West Indies. A left-handed batsman,his batting style has drawn comparisons with Brian Lara. Bravo is the younger half brother of fellow West Indies cricketer Dwayne Bravo and his mother is the first cousin of former cricketer Brian Lara. Bravo was a member of the West Indies team that won the 2012 T20 World Cup.
The 2020–21 Super50 Cup was the 47th edition of the Super50 Cup,the domestic limited-overs cricket competition for the countries of the Cricket West Indies (CWI). The tournament took place in February 2021 in Antigua and Barbuda. Six teams competed in the tournament –Barbados,Guyana,Jamaica,the Leeward Islands,Trinidad and Tobago,and the Windward Islands. The West Indies Emerging Team won the previous edition of the competition.
