Haidian Park (海淀 公园; pinyin: Hǎidiàn Gōngyuán) is a city park located in the northwestern Haidian District of Beijing, China. It is 40 hectares in area, and is located at the northwest corner of the Wanquanhe Intersection of the Northwest Fourth Ring Road.

Haidian Park is the location of the Midi Modern Music Festival, and the 2007 Beijing Jazz Festival was held there in September 2007.

Beijing Jazz Festival

The Beijing Jazz Festival is China's first and largest jazz festival. It was founded in 1993 by Udo Hoffmann, a German national living in China. The festival is hosted by the Beijing Midi School of Music and Beijing Midi Productions.

Fragrant Hills park

Fragrant Hills or Xiangshan Park is a public park and former imperial garden at the foot of the Western Hills in the Haidian District, in the northwestern part of Beijing, China. It was also formerly known as Jingyi Garden or "Jingyiyuan" (靜宜園). It covers 160 ha and consists of a natural pine-cypress forest, hills with maple trees, smoke trees and persimmon trees, as well as landscaped areas with traditional architecture and cultural relics. The name derives from the park's highest peak, Xianglu Feng, a 557-meter (1,827 ft) hill with two large stones resembling incense burners at the top.

Midi Music Festival

The Midi Music Festival, sometimes also called Midi Modern Music Festival or simply Midi Festival is among China's largest rock music festivals and is hosted by the Beijing Midi School of Music. Since its inauguration in 1997 it has been held each year in Beijing during the May holiday, with some breaks in 2003, 2004 and 2008. Currently, it change to( April 28th to May 1st). The 2008 festival was delayed to October for reasons related to the 2008 Summer Olympics. The festival currently is held annually in four Chinese cities: Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou and Shenzhen.
