Jessica Hogg (born 12 October 1995) [1] is a Welsh artistic gymnast.

Hogg competed in the 2010 Youth Olympics. [2] She won a bronze medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in the team event. [3] She has also won medals at the Northern European Gymnastic Championships with two silver medals in 2011 [4] in the team and vault events and three gold medals in 2012 in the team, balance beam and floor events. Artistic gymnastics is a discipline of gymnastics in which athletes perform short routines on different apparatuses, with less time for vaulting. The sport is governed by the Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG), which designs the code of points and regulates all aspects of international elite competition. Svetlana Khorkina Russian artistic gymnast

Svetlana Vasilyevna Khorkina is a retired Russian artistic gymnast. She competed at the 1996 Summer Olympics, the 2000 Summer Olympics, and the 2004 Summer Olympics. During her career, Khorkina won seven Olympic medals and twenty World Championship medals. Over time, she medaled in every event at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. She was also the first gymnast to win three all-around titles at the World Championships and only the second female artistic gymnast ever, after Nadia Comăneci, to win three European All-Around titles. Khorkina is often regarded as one of the most successful female gymnasts of all time.

Allana Amy Slater is a retired Australian artistic gymnast. The Australian senior all-around National Champion in 2000, 2003 and 2004 and a multiple medalist at the Commonwealth Games, Slater is considered to be one of Australia's most internationally successful gymnasts.

Lauren Mitchell is a retired Australian artistic gymnast. She is the 2010 World Champion on floor and the 2009 World Championships silver medalist on balance beam and floor. Mitchell is only the second Australian woman gymnast to win medals at a World Championships, and the first to win gold.

Ashleigh Brennan Australian artistic gymnast

Ashleigh Jade Brennan is an Australian former gymnast who was on the Australia Gymnastics Artistic Women's National Team. She participated in the 2008 Summer Olympics, finishing sixth in the team event. She won a pair of team gold medals in the Commonwealth Games at the 2006 and 2010 Games. She won a silver medal at the Commonwealth Games in 2006 and a bronze in 2010. She was selected to represent Australia at the 2012 Summer Olympics. She is also the sister of star Berwick footballer, Tom Brennan.

Jessica Brizeida López Arocha is a Venezuelan artistic gymnast who competes for the Venezuela national team. She competed at the 2008, the 2012 and the 2016 Summer Olympics, where she qualified to the uneven bars final, becoming the first Venezuelan gymnast to qualify for an individual apparatus final, where she placed sixth.

Francesca Jones is a retired Welsh rhythmic gymnast who represented Wales at three successive Commonwealth Games. At the 2014 Commonwealth Games Jones won both the Ribbon event in rhythmic gymnastics and the David Dixon Award.

Max Whitlock British artistic gymnast

Max Antony Whitlock is a British artistic gymnast. He is a five-time Olympic medallist, winning two golds and three bronzes, and an eight-time world medallist on the same apparatus with three gold and five silvers. He became Britain's first ever gold medallist in artistic gymnastics when he won both the men's floor and pommel horse exercises at the 2016 Summer Olympics. With twelve medals and five titles in Olympic and world championships, Whitlock is the most successful gymnast in his nation's history.

Gymnastics in India

Gymnastics came of age in India, when at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, Ashish Kumar won the first-ever medal in gymnastics, he won a bronze medal. However, soon after the win, the President of the Gymnastics Federation of India asked Ashish's Chief Coach from the Soviet Union, Vladimir Chertkov: "Is this all that you can deliver, a bronze?" The comment was widely reported in the press.

Elsabeth Ann "Ellie" Black is a Canadian artistic gymnast. She is a two-time Olympian, having represented her country at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics. She is the 2017 World all-around silver medalist, making her the first Canadian gymnast to win a world all-around medal. Black is also the 2018 Commonwealth Games all-around champion, a two time Pan American Games all-around champion champion, and a six-time Canadian national all-around champion. At the 2016 Olympic Games, Black finished 5th in the individual all-around, the highest placement ever recorded by a Canadian gymnast.

Emily Little is an Australian artistic gymnast. She won a gold medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in the team women's artistic gymnastic events. She was chosen to represent Australia at the 2012 Summer Olympics.

Giulia Steingruber Swiss artistic gymnast

Giulia Steingruber is a Swiss artistic gymnast. She is the 2016 Olympic bronze medalist on vault and a European champion in the individual all-around (2015), vault and floor exercise (2016).

Stephanie Louise Rae Moorhouse is a retired Australian artistic gymnast. Moorhouse made her first Australian team in 1999, at the age of 12. She won gold with the Australian team at the 2002 Commonwealth Games while completing year 10 and was part of the bronze medal-winning team at the 2003 World Championships. She went on to compete at the 2004 Summer Olympics held in Athens while finishing off her VCE. Although she did not win a medal, she was an all-around finalist ranking 20th.

Claudia Fragapane British artistic gymnast

Claudia Fragapane is a British artistic gymnast. She came to prominence at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, where she was the first English woman to win four gold medals since 1930. In 2015, Fragapane was part of the women's gymnastics team that won Great Britain's first-ever team medal, a bronze, at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. She competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

Nile Wilson British artistic gymnast

Nile Michael Wilson is a former British artistic gymnast. He won an Olympic bronze medal in the men's horizontal bar at the 2016 Summer Olympics; he was a world medallist as a member of the silver-medal winning British team at the 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, the first world men's team medal in British gymnastics history. In January 2021, Wilson announced his retirement from competitive gymnastics.
