Kayla Meneghin (born December 22, 1994) is an American ice hockey forward, currently playing with the Buffalo Beauts of the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF).
As a child, Meneghin began playing hockey for the Quarry Cats based in Montclair State University Ice Arena, before playing for the New Jersey Colonials in high school. Raised in Clifton, New Jersey, Meneghin played prep hockey at Clifton High School before transferring to The Gunnery for her last two years of high school. [1] [2]
From 2014 to 2018, she attended Plattsburgh State, scoring 188 points across 117 NCAA Division III games, the fifth highest scorer in league history and second highest scorer in Plattsburgh program history. [3] During her four seasons with the university, she won three national championships. [4] [5]
After graduating, she attended the PHF's Buffalo Beauts free agent camp before signing her first professional contract with the Connecticut Whale as an undrafted free agent. [6] She scored one goal in ten games in her rookie season for the Whale. [7] Her production jumped in her second season, scoring 8 points in 14 games and picking up time on the team's first line. [6]
She left Connecticut to sign with the Beauts for the 2020–21 NWHL season. [8]
Since 2018, Meneghin has served as an assistant coach for the women's hockey programme at Saint Anselm College. In 2020, she co-founded a business called KayRad Hockey with Jersey Hitmen head coach Darius Radziszewski. [9]
Kelley Steadman is an American retired ice hockey player, currently serving as an ice hockey development ambassador for Lightning Made, the community hockey department of the Tampa Bay Lightning. As a member of the United States' women's national team, she won two IIHF World Women's Championship gold medals, in 2011 and 2013. She played with the Boston Blades of the Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL), Tornado Dmitrov of the Russian Women's Hockey League, and the Buffalo Beauts of the National Women's Hockey League.
Shiann Darkangelo is an American ice hockey player who currently plays with the Toronto Six of the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF). She has played at the international level with Team USA and won gold at the 2016 IIHF Women's World Championship with the team. At the NCAA Division I level, she accumulated 42 points with the Syracuse Orange women's ice hockey program during the 2011–12 and 2012–13 seasons and registered 60 points with the Quinnipiac Bobcats women's ice hockey program during the 2013–14 and 2014–15 seasons.
Kaleigh Fratkin is a Canadian women's ice hockey player with the Boston Pride of the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF). The third-longest tenured player and leading scorer among defenders in PHF history, she was the first Canadian player to sign a contract in the league, is a four-time PHF all-star, and is a two-time PHF Defender of the Year in 2020 and 2021. She was also a member of the Boston Pride roster that captured the 2021 and 2022 Isobel Cup. Previous to the joining the NWHL, she won the Clarkson Cup in 2015 and was the first girl to play boys' midget AAA hockey in British Columbia.
