Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University (also referred to as KDPU) is a university located in Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine. It has roots dating back to 1930 and offers 29 departments and programs.
The university was founded in 1930 as a University of Vocational Training. In the prewar period, the university trained about 1,000 teachers. In 1999 on the basis of the State Pedagogical University, the Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University was established. The proclamation of the independence of Ukraine in 1991 brought about radical changes in every sphere of University life.
In 2011 Cabinet of Ukraine founded Kryvyi Rih National University. [1] It existed for 5 years and was divided into three separate institutions again in 2016. [2]
The university is administered in nine divisions — PhysMath, Biological, Geographical, Historical, Ukrainian philology, Foreign languages, Education and Fine Arts — and its faculty are divided into 29 [3] departments and programs. Many of these programs are completed with a master's degree. [4]
The university administers 29 degree-granting programs. It also offers joint-degree programs with several of KNU's professional schools, as well as opportunities for advanced non-degree study.

In 2011 Cabinet of Ukraine founded Kryvyi Rih National University by uniting Technic University, State Pedagogical University, Institute of Economics and also Institute of Metallurgy. It is ranked as one of the best universities in Ukraine in many rankings.
State University of Economics and Technology (SUET), also in the past known as Kryvyi Rih Institute of Economics (KEI), located in Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine was founded in 1966 as a branch of Donetsk Institute of Soviet Trade. In 1977, it became a branch of Kyiv National Economic University (KNEU) (also it did later in 2016). In 2011, it became part of Kryvyi Rih National University (KNU). Then, in 2020 it was finally reestablished as SUET.
Cherkasy National University or officially The Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy is located in Cherkasy. It is one of the leading universities of Ukraine. The university was named after Ukrainian Hetman Bohdan Khmelnytsky who was born in Cherkasy region.
