As of 2011, North Nicosia had a population of 61,378 and a metropolitan area with a population of 82,539.

Kepez is a seaside town (belde) in the Çanakkale District, Çanakkale Province, Turkey. Its population is 35,390 (2022). The town has its own municipality which was established in 1992.

Zeytinburnu SK is a Turkish football club established in 1953 and based in the Zeytinburnu district of Istanbul, Turkey.

The Cypriot Cup is the top knockout tournament of the Cyprus Turkish Football Federation, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. It was created in 1956 as the Kıbrıs Kupası, and was known as the "Federation Cup" for some time, but the name was changed back to "Kıbrıs Kupası" in 2014.

Trikomo is a town in North-Eastern Mesaoria in Cyprus. It is under the de facto control of Northern Cyprus and is the administrative center of the İskele District of Northern Cyprus. It gained municipality status in 1998.

Gönyeli is a town in Cyprus, near the capital city Nicosia. It is de facto under the control of Northern Cyprus. Over the years the town has merged with North Nicosia, making it connurbated with the city. Its population as of 2011 is 11,671.

Kadınlar Süper Ligi, also known as the Turkish Women's Ice Hockey League and as TBHF Kadınlar Ligi, is an amateur ice hockey league in Turkey. It was founded by the Turkish Ice Hockey Federation (TBHF) in 2006.

Pergamos is a Turkish Cypriot village in Larnaca District, Cyprus, 4 km north of Pyla, almost surrounded by the British Sovereign Base Area (SBA) at Dhekelia. Pergamos is under the de facto control of Northern Cyprus.

The Ankara–Istanbul high-speed railway, is a 562 km (349 mi) long high-speed railway linking Ankara and Istanbul in Turkey. The railway runs mostly parallel to the Istanbul-Ankara railway and passes through some of Turkey's most urbanized areas. The line hosts high-speed YHT train service with a maximum operating speed of 250 km/h (160 mph).
