Columbus is a city in and the county seat of Platte County, in the state of Nebraska in the Midwestern United States. The population was 24,028 at the 2020 census, making it the 10th largest city in Nebraska.

It was built in 1917, and is a 1+1⁄2-story, Classical Revival style brick building on a raised basement. It features a red terra cotta style hipped roof and decorative frieze. It was built in part with $9,000 provided by the Carnegie Foundation.
The North Bend Carnegie Library is a Carnegie library located at 140 E. 8th St. in North Bend, Nebraska. The library was funded by the Carnegie Foundation in 1911 and dedicated in 1913; it housed a library program started by the city's Woman's Club in 1906. The building was designed by John R. Smith according to the simple plans suggested by the Carnegie Foundation. The city used the library until 2012, when they vacated it for a new building.

Twelve of the buildings they designed are listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The two men have additional buildings listed on the National Register with other partnerships or individually credited. Related firms were Fiske and Dieman, Fiske, Meginnis and Schaumberg, and Meginnis and Schaumberg.
Monroe Carnegie Library, also known as Old Monroe Carnegie Library, is a historic Carnegie library located at Bloomington, Monroe County, Indiana. It was built in 1917, and is a one-story, rectangular, Neoclassical style limestone building on a raised basement. The Monroe County History Center is a history museum the historic library building that was established as a Carnegie library. The museum is located on the site of Center School in the former Bloomington Public Library building. The library building is now home to the Monroe County Historical Society, their collection of artifacts, and their Genealogy Library. A historical marker is present at the site. The History Center is located at 202 East 6th Street. It is a tourist attraction.

The Frederick Hotel is a historic building in Loup City, Nebraska. It was built in 1913 for Viola Rosseter Odendahl, the daughter of hotelier Cyrus Rosseter and the widow of druggist Charles Odendahl. In 1939, the hotel was acquired by Odendahl's sons, and it closed down in the 1990s. The building has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since October 16, 2002.
The Sidney Carnegie Library is a historic building in Sidney, Nebraska. It was built in 1914 as a Carnegie library with funding from the Carnegie Corporation, and designed in the Tudor Revival architectural style. There is a grotesque on each side of the main entrance. When the building was dedicated in 1917, it was the first public library in Cheyenne County, Nebraska. A new public library building was built in 1967, and this building was repurposed as the Cheyenne County Chamber of Commerce. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since July 3, 1991.
The McCook Public-Carnegie Library, also known as the McCook Carnegie Library, is a historic building in McCook, Nebraska, United States. It was built as a Carnegie library in 1905, and designed in the Spanish Colonial Revival style by Denver architect Willis Marean. It housed the McCook public library until 1969. Since then, it has housed the Museum of the High Plains. The building has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since September 12, 1985.

Its construction was initially rejected by the voters of Pawnee City in 1905, despite the promise of a $7,000 donation from Andrew Carnegie. It was built in 1908, and designed in the Classical Revival architectural style. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since December 10, 2010.
The Scottsbluff Carnegie Library is a historic building in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. It was built as a Carnegie library in 1922, and designed in the Classical Revival architectural style by architect Robert A. Bradley. A 1936 extension was designed in the same style by architect Otto John Hehnke. The building was repurposed as the West Nebraska Arts Center in 1966. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since September 3, 1981.
