The William G. Mennen Sports Arena, commonly referred to as Mennen Arena, is a multi-purpose arena in Morris Township, New Jersey primarily used for ice hockey and other skating activities. The building houses three regulation-sized ice rinks. The main rink has seating for 2,500 spectators.

The venue is the main home ice rink for the New Jersey Colonials youth hockey program [2] and the main training center for the Skating Club of Morris. [3] Morris Rugby Corporation holds events at Mennen Arena. [4] It is also the host rink for the County College of Morris hockey team as well as most of the public high school hockey teams in Morris County, New Jersey.[ citation needed ]
During the summer months the ice surface in the main rink is removed. The arena has hosted the Shrine Circus, [5] dog shows, [6] professional wrestling and MMA events such as Grapplers Quest [7] and Cage Fury Fighting Championships (CFFC). [8]
Mennen hosted one game for the New Jersey XTreme of the National Indoor Football League in 2005, and was formerly the home of the New Jersey Revolution of the American Indoor Football Association.[ citation needed ]
The Mennen Arena [9] was built in 1973 on land donated by the Mennen Company, now part of Colgate-Palmolive. It was opened to the public on January 12, 1975. At that time, the facility consisted of one indoor multi-purpose arena with artificial ice in place for most of the year.
A second ice surface was added in an expansion building in 1986 and a third surface added in 2002. [10]

The growth and increasing popularity of ice skating during the 1800s marked a rise in the deliberate construction of ice rinks in numerous areas of the world.
The Duquesne Gardens was the main sports arena located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, during the first half of the 20th century. Built in 1890, the building originally served as a trolley barn, before becoming a multi-purpose arena. The Gardens opened three years after a fire destroyed the city's prior sports arena, the Schenley Park Casino, in 1896. Over the years, the Gardens was the home arena of several of Pittsburgh's historic sports teams, such as ice hockey's Pittsburgh Pirates and Pittsburgh Hornets. The Western Pennsylvania Hockey League, which was the first ice hockey league to openly hire and trade players, played all of its games at the Gardens. The arena was also the first hockey rink to ever use glass above the dasher boards. Developed locally by the Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company, Herculite glass was first tested in Pittsburgh. Most rinks were using wire mesh before the shatterproof glass was invented. Finally, the Pittsburgh Ironmen, a charter member of the Basketball Association of America, played at the Gardens from 1946 to 1947.
The Ottawa Auditorium was a 7,500-seat arena located in Ottawa, Ontario. It was located in Downtown Ottawa at the corner of O'Connor and Argyle Streets, today the site of the Taggart Family YMCA. Built primarily for ice hockey, the arena was also used for sports events, assemblies and musical concerts.

The Robert Morris University Island Sports Center is a sports complex located in the Pittsburgh suburb of Neville Island in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States. The RMU Island Sports Center opened in 1998, and houses several ice and inline skating rinks, a golf range, a miniature golf course, athletic fields, a strength and fitness center, a bistro and a pro shop. In 2003, Robert Morris University bought a Superfund Site's land from Neville Land Company for 2.7 million. Ohio River Park is still being monitored by the EPA. A boathouse was added in October 2016. The complex is accessible via exit 65 of Interstate 79.
The Four Seasons Arena is a multi-purpose indoor sports and exhibition arena located in the city of Great Falls, Montana, in the United States. Constructed in 1979, it served primarily as an ice rink until 2005. The failure of the practice rink's refrigeration system in 2003 and the management's decision to close the main rink in 2006 led to the facility's reconfiguration as an indoor sports and exhibition space. In November 2018, the Cascade County Commission, in conjunction with the Great Falls TIBD, and the Great Falls Lodging Association began to develop a plan to replace the arena. At a cost of 86 million dollars, the proposed arena will seat between 10,000 and 12,000 people. The bond is expected to go before voters in November 2019. As of May 2011 it is the largest exhibition, music, and sports venue in the city.

Hobbs Municipal Ice Center is an indoor ice arena complex located in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The arena is home to the UW–Eau Claire Blugolds men's and women's varsity hockey teams, in addition to the and men's club hockey team. The arena also hosts local high school teams. The facility provides three ice rinks, locker rooms, meeting rooms and offices for the Eau Claire Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department.

Great Park Ice & FivePoint Arena is a 2,500 seat 4 rink ice hockey facility in Irvine, California. It serves as the practice facility of the Anaheim Ducks, after leaving Anaheim Ice. The facility includes a team store, restaurant, pro shop, arcade, and other amenities. As one of The Rinks facilities, Great Park Ice offers youth and adult hockey, curling, ice skating lessons, figure skating, and public skating hours. The complex is also surrounded by Orange County Great Park which has other sports facilities.
Alpine Ice is an indoor ice sports and public skate centre, that opened in April 1985. It is located in the New Zealand city of Christchurch, in the inner-city suburb of Opawa. It is the current home venue of the Canterbury Red Devils in the New Zealand Ice Hockey League (NZIHL) and Canterbury Inferno in the New Zealand Women's Ice Hockey League (NZWIHL). The arena is the only operational indoor ice sports centre in Christchurch.
