Munmun is a Bangladeshi actress who has appeared in 85 films. She started her career with the film Moumachhi (1996), directed by Ehtesham. She became one of the leading actresses of Bangladesh alongside Moushumi, Shabnur and Popy in the late 1990s till 2003. Her film include Raja, Dujonay (2000), Bishe Bhora Nagin (2000) [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]

Career

Munmun appeared in 85 films in her career. She was a top actress of Dhallywood from 1999 till 2003. She is accused to bringing obscenity to Bangladeshi films alongside actresses Moyuri and Jhumka. She went to self-retirement in 2003 citing that she is not willing to stretch her career amid the flow of B-grade and erotic films. [4]

Munmun Akhter Liza is a Bangladeshi film actress. She made her film debut in 1998 with the film 'Mrityur Mukhe'. Since then, she has acted in about 309 films until 2007. Nargis Akhter's movie ' Char Satiner Ghar ' based on author Selina Hossain 's novel 'Hridoy O Shramer Sansar' playing the role of Khan Shaheb's third wife further enhanced her reputation. Pornography flourished at the time, and in its aftermath, Moyuri also starred in a number of "obscene" films, and was widely criticized for her obscenity and nudity. Since then, her interest in cinema has waned, which is why she has not been seen in films since 2007.

Mayer Dabi is a 1986 Bangladeshi drama film directed by Awkat Hossain. Starring Bulbul Ahmed, Selina, Rosy Afsari, Prabir Mitra, Black Anwar and others. The film earned Best Child Artist Award at the 11th Bangladesh National Film Awards. It is one of the fewest Bangladeshi films made on mother alongside Mayer Kanna (1986), Mayer Morjada, Mayer Ashirbad (1993), Hangor Nodi Grenade (1997), Ammajan (1999), Matritto (2003) etc.
