He was a Wisden Cricketer of the Year in 1970 and South African cricketer of the year in 1967.

Ian Douglas Fisher is an English first-class cricketer. He is a left-handed batsman and a left-arm slow bowler. He made his first-class debut in April 1996 during Yorkshire's preseason tour of Zimbabwe,and in his first innings took 5 for 35 against a Mashonaland Invitation XI. However,the surge in form of Richard Dawson stopped Fisher from progressing with Yorkshire,and he moved to Gloucestershire for the 2002 season. He had a decent summer,scoring over 500 runs and taking more than 30 wickets in first-class cricket;he also scored 103 not out against Essex,which remains his only first-class century.
Michael Howard Yardy is an English cricket coach and former professional cricketer who played limited over internationals for the England cricket team between 2006 and 2015. He played as a left-handed batsman and captained Sussex County Cricket Club. His unusual batting technique attracted a great deal of attention due to a pronounced shuffle from leg to off immediately prior to the bowler releasing the ball. Yardy also bowled slow left arm with a characteristic round armed action,and was used as a bowling all-rounder in England's One Day International and Twenty20 International teams. Yardy retired from professional cricket at the end of the 2015 season. Yardy was a member of the England team that won the 2010 ICC World Twenty20.

A left-handed batsman and a right-arm off break bowler,he played his domestic cricket for Kent County Cricket Club and was appointed as County Captain for the 2013 season. He made his debut for Kent in the 2001 season,nine days before his first appearance for England Under-19s. He often fielded at slip. Tredwell was a member of the England team that won the 2010 ICC World Twenty20.

He later played for Gloucestershire,Leicestershire and minor counties side Staffordshire as well as appearing for England A. He was capped by Gloucestershire in 2005. He is of Pakistani descent and studied at Handsworth Grammar School.

Kerrigan signed for Lancashire in September 2008,and made his debut for the first team in 2010,filling in for Gary Keedy,Lancashire's senior spinner. In August 2011,Kerrigan was selected for the England Lions for the first time. The following month he took the best first-class bowling figures for Lancashire since 1953 and that year Lancashire won the County Championship for the first time since 1950.
Samuel William Billings is an English professional cricketer. Billings is a right-handed batsman who fields as a wicket-keeper. He was born at Pembury in Kent and has played for Kent County Cricket Club sides since he was eight years old,making his senior debut for the First XI in 2011. In October 2017 he was appointed as the vice-captain of the team before being appointed as captain in January 2018,replacing Sam Northeast. He served as the club's captain until the end of the 2023 season when he resigned,although he retained the captaincy of the club's Twenty20 cricket side.
Imran Qayyum is an English former professional cricketer who played for Kent County Cricket Club. A slow left arm bowler,he made his first-class cricket debut in May 2016 against Northamptonshire in the 2016 County Championship and has gone on to play in limited overs competitions for the county. In May 2021,he was forced to retire from the game due to a shoulder injury.
In 2017,Kent County Cricket Club competed in Division Two of the County Championship,the Royal London One-Day Cup and the NatWest t20 Blast. In addition,before the start of the English cricket season,Kent competed in the 2016–17 Regional Super50,the List A competition of the West Indian domestic season. This was the first time that any English county had competed in an overseas domestic competition. The invitation to take part in the tournament was largely due to the influence of former West Indian captain Jimmy Adams who had been Kent's Head Coach until September 2016.
