The Roman Catholic Diocese of Romblon (Lat: Dioecesis Rombloniesis) is a diocese of the Latin Rite of the Roman Catholic Church in the Philippines. The Diocese of Romblon has 24 parishes manned by 30 priests and 1 religious SVD brother. The diocese is divided into 6 vicariates. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Capiz. It covers a land area of 1,355 square kilometers and has a population of 227,621 of which 87 per cent are Catholics. Its titular patron is St. Joseph, spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and its secondary patron is the Santo Niño. [2]

Erected in 1974, the diocese has experienced no jurisdictional changes, and is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Capiz.

The Seminary of St. Pius X, or St. Pius X Seminary (SPXS), is a Roman Catholic secondary school and seminary in the Lawaan hills, Roxas City, Capiz, in the Philippines, run by the Catholic priests of the Archdiocese of Capiz. The seminary and its surrounding areas comprise some three hectares of rocky hills. Cardinal Jaime Sin was the first rector of the school. In 1999, the college of St. Pius X Seminary transferred to Cagay, Roxas City, Capiz, and named the school Sancta Maria, Mater et Regina, Seminarium (SMMRS) to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary. SPXS decided to retain and maintain its high school and pre-college until 2012, pre-college was transferred to SMMRS.

The Roman Catholic Archbishop of Lipa is the head of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Lipa and the Metropolitan Bishop of the suffragan dioceses of Boac, Gumaca, Lucena and the Prelature of Infanta.

Saint Vincent Ferrer Parish Church is the Roman Catholic parish church of Odiongan in Romblon in the Philippines. It falls under the jurisdiction of the Diocese of Romblon which in turn falls under the Archdiocese of Capiz. The church is located in Poblacion, the central town of the said municipality. The Church has a separate bell tower. It has porte-cochère with the statue of St. Vincent above but attached to the front outer wall of the church and is lit at night.

The Bishop of Romblon is the Ordinary of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Romblon in the Ecclesiastical Province of Capiz, Philippines. The current bishop is Narciso Abellana y Villaver. The local church of the Diocese of Romblon has shown tremendous growth since its erection in April 1974. Although the local situation is characterized by massive poverty because a majority of its people are poor fisher folk and marginalized farmers, the resources and strength of the Romblomanons, as the native inhabitants are called, have come to the fore to solve the vital problems that beset the diocese.
