Ryan Hayes (born February 28, 2000) is an American football offensive tackle for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Michigan Wolverines.
Hayes attended Traverse City West Senior High School where he was a two-way, three-sport athlete in high school. [1] He played basketball, baseball and football, where he was as an all-state tight end and defensive end. [2] He was a four-star recruit and ranked as the No. 10 offensive tackle in the nation. He received offers from Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, TCU, Vanderbilt and Virginia. [3]
Hayes enrolled at Michigan in 2018, but did not appear in any games. Prior to his sophomore season, head coach Jim Harbaugh announced that Hayes would backup Jalen Mayfield and Jon Runyan Jr. [4] As a sophomore in 2019, he played 12 games on the offensive line, including two starts. [5] He made his collegiate debut on August 31, 2019, in a game against Middle Tennessee. He started at left tackle in place of fifth-year senior Runyan, who sat out due to an injury. [6] He was the team's swing tackle after Runyan returned from injury. [7] As a junior in 2020, he started the first two games at left tackle, however, he missed the remainder of the season due to injury, in a season that was shortened due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a senior in 2021 he started all 14 games at left tackle and helped lead the offensive line with the fewest sacks allowed (10) and third-fewest tackles for loss (27) nationally and won the Joe Moore Award. [10] [11] Following the season he was named second-team All-Big Ten. [12] As a graduate student in 2022, he started 11 games, after missing the first game of the season due to injury. [13] He helped lead the offensive line with 12 sacks allowed and a 5.97 sack-adjusted yards per carry, and again won the Joe Moore Award. [14] Following the season he was again named second-team All-Big Ten. [15] On November 21, 2022, he accepted an invite to the Senior Bowl. [2]

Hayes was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the seventh round, 238th overall, in the 2023 NFL draft. [18] He was waived on August 29, 2023 [19]
Hayes was claimed off waivers by the Indianapolis Colts on August 30, 2023. [20] He was waived on September 19. [21]
On September 22, 2023, Hayes was signed to the Dolphins practice squad. [22] He signed a reserve/future contract on January 15, 2024. [23]
Leon Michael Hart is an American football coach and former player. Hart played college football as a running back at the University of Michigan, from 2004 to 2007, and holds the Michigan Wolverines career rushing record with 5,040 yards. He was selected by the Indianapolis Colts in 2008, and played three seasons in the NFL. Hart has worked as an assistant football coach at the University of Michigan, Syracuse University, Western Michigan University, Eastern Michigan University, and Indiana University Bloomington.
Jordan David Kovacs is a former American football safety who is the secondary/safeties coach for the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League (NFL). He was signed by the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent in 2013. He played college football at Michigan.
Taylor Curtis Lewan is an American football offensive tackle who is a free agent. He played college football at the University of Michigan, where he twice received first-team All-American honors, and was selected by the Tennessee Titans in the first round of the 2014 NFL draft. During his NFL career, Lewan was named to three consecutive Pro Bowls from 2016 to 2018. He was released by the Titans after the 2022 season after sustaining season-ending knee injuries in two of the previous three seasons.

Chase Camden Winovich is a former American football defensive end who played in the National Football League (NFL) for five seasons. He played college football at the University of Michigan. He was a two-time All-Big Ten Conference selection, and received All-American honors in 2018. He was drafted by the New England Patriots in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He was selected with the second overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft by the Detroit Lions, and named to the All-Rookie Team in 2022. Hutchinson was voted to his first Pro Bowl in 2023.
Blake Nolan Corum is an American football running back for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League (NFL). He was a two-time All-American for the Michigan Wolverines. Corum is the all-time leader for the University of Michigan in rushing touchdowns with 58, including the single season record of 27 rushing touchdowns in 2023, culminating in a national championship. He was selected by the Rams in the third round of the 2024 NFL draft.
The 2021 Michigan Wolverines football team was an American football team that represented the University of Michigan as a member of the East Division of the Big Ten Conference during the 2021 NCAA Division I FBS football season. In their seventh year under head coach Jim Harbaugh, the team compiled a 12–2 record, won the Big Ten championship, outscored opponents by a total of 501 to 243, and was ranked No. 3 in the final AP and Coaches Polls. The Wolverines advanced to the College Football Playoff for the first time in program history, losing to eventual national champion Georgia in the Orange Bowl.
The 2022 Michigan Wolverines football team represented the University of Michigan in the East Division of the Big Ten Conference during the 2022 NCAA Division I FBS football season. Led by eighth-year head coach Jim Harbaugh, the Wolverines compiled an overall record of 12–0 in the regular season with a mark of 9–0 in conference play, winning the Big Ten East Division title for the second consecutive season. Michigan beat Purdue in the Big Ten Championship Game to repeat as conference champions. The Wolverines advanced to the College Football Playoff (CFP) for the second straight year, where they lost to TCU in the Fiesta Bowl for the CFP Semifinal on December 31.

The 2023 Michigan Wolverines football team represented the University of Michigan in the East Division of the Big Ten Conference during the 2023 NCAA Division I FBS football season. In their ninth and final year under head coach Jim Harbaugh, the Wolverines compiled an undefeated 15–0 record, outscored opponents by a total of 538 to 156, and won their third consecutive Big Ten championship with a 26–0 victory over Iowa in the Big Ten Championship Game. They defeated No. 4 Alabama, 27–20 in overtime, in the 2024 Rose Bowl. They then defeated No. 2 Washington, 34–13, in the 2024 College Football Playoff National Championship to claim their first CFP title and 12th national championship in program history, their first since 1997, and their first consensus national championship since 1948. With their win against Maryland on November 18, the Wolverines became the first program in college football history to reach 1,000 wins.
Karsen Barnhart is an American football offensive tackle for the Los Angeles Chargers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Michigan Wolverines, where he was an All-Big Ten selection, winning three consecutive Big Ten Conference titles and a national championship in 2023.
