Say What? Karaoke (also known as SWK, and later SWK 2.0) was a karaoke game show that aired on the American cable television network MTV. [1] The game show is a spinoff of the former MTV show Say What? .
The basics of the show are formatted as a real karaoke machine. Various college contestants compete by singing a popular song (often a pop song) with the music video played at the same time, as well as lyrics playing at the bottom of the screen. At times, there are two contestants that compete together. Afterwards they are rated by the judges on a 1-10 with plastic number signs, the rating number is also the number of points they have earned. Similar to other competitions, the finalists end up in first, second, and third position which depends on the number of points they have earned.
The show began as a special that was extrapolated from the current MTV show Say What?. The original specials were tongue-in-cheek; the hosts even admitted that they thought karaoke was a lame premise for a show. However, the concept turned out to be extremely popular, more so than the show it had originated from.
At different times, the series was hosted by television personality and actor Dave Holmes, Real World alum Teck Holmes, singer Joey McIntyre, and finally co-hosted by actress Danielle Fishel and Real World alum Steven Hill. [2] The series also featured several celebrity guest judges including actor Shia LaBeouf and singers Ashlee Simpson and Trevor Penick.
After the series ended in July 2003, its premise was revamped and aired on MTV on May 12, 2007 with the new title SWK 2.0. The show was hosted by Mikey Day and also featured celebrity judges including Danity Kane singer Aubrey O'Day, American Idol contestant Paris Bennett, and reality show star Tiffany "New York" Pollard, as well as viewer voting in some elements.

The game features contestants trying to match answers given by celebrity panelists to fill-in-the-blank questions. Beginning with the CBS run of the 1970s, the questions are often formed as humorous double entendres.

Nicholas Scott Lachey is an American singer, dancer, actor, television personality, and host. Mark Sayers McGrath is an American singer who is the lead vocalist of the rock band Sugar Ray. McGrath is also known for his work as a co-host of Extra, and he was the host of Don't Forget the Lyrics! in 2010. McGrath hosted the second season of the TV show Killer Karaoke, taking the place of Jackass star Steve-O.
The Challenge is a reality competition show on MTV that is a spin-off of two of the network's reality shows, The Real World and Road Rules. Premiering in 1998, it originally featured alumni from these two shows, casting for The Challenge has slowly expanded to include contestants who debuted on The Challenge itself, alumni from other MTV franchises including Are You the One?, Ex on the Beach, Geordie Shore, siblings and friends, and from other non-MTV shows, competitions. The contestants compete against one another in various extreme challenges to avoid elimination. The winners of the final challenge win the competition and typically share a large cash prize. The Challenge is currently hosted by T. J. Lavin.

Your Face Sounds Familiar is a British talent show based on the Spanish series of the same name. The show began on 29 June 2013 on ITV and ended on 3 August 2013. The show was co-presented by Alesha Dixon and Paddy McGuinness, whilst the judging panel consisted of Emma Bunton, Julian Clary, and a different guest judge in each episode. Guest judges included Cilla Black, Donny Osmond, Denise van Outen, Kian Egan, and Peter Andre.

Rising Star is the second Indian version of the international franchise series Rising Star, a reality television singing competition. This is first time when Rising Star does not come with any present sponsor. This season earlier had an age limit of 4–13 years but when singers more than 13 years of age came for audition, the channel decided to change the age limit to 4 years and above. The Masked Singer is an American reality singing competition television series that premiered on Fox on January 2, 2019. It is part of the Masked Singer franchise which began in South Korea and features celebrities singing songs while wearing head-to-toe costumes and face masks concealing their identities. Hosted by Nick Cannon, the program employs panelists who guess the celebrities' identities by interpreting clues provided to them throughout each season. Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Nicole Scherzinger, and Robin Thicke appear in each episode and vote alongside an audience for their favorite singer after all performances have concluded. The least popular is eliminated, taking off their mask to reveal their identity.
Tvoje lice zvuči poznato All Stars is the first All Stars season and fifth season overall of the Serbian talent show Tvoje lice zvuči poznato, which is based on the Spanish series Your Face Sounds Familiar. It aired between October 4 and December 20, 2019. It's also the first edition of the popular format in which contestants from the previous seasons compete as teams of two contestants from the same season.
