Scotts Run, formerly Scotts Run Station, [1] is a mixed-use development featuring offices, apartments, hotels, retail stores, and restaurants in Tysons, Virginia being developed by Cityline Partners, LLC.
Scotts Run is split into two sections, Scotts Run South and Scotts Run North, on both sides of Dolley Madison Boulevard between the interchanges with I-495 and SR 267 in the Tysons East section of Tysons, Virginia. It is adjacent to the Washington Metro McLean station on the south and east sides of the station. The development is also split from north to south by the Scotts Run Stream Valley Park. Expected square footage of the developments are 1,500,000 square feet (140,000 m2) on 9.4 acres (3.8 ha) in Scotts Run North [2] and 6,600,000 square feet (610,000 m2) on 36 acres (15 ha) in Scotts Run South. Scotts Run Station will include up to two dozen buildings, seven in the north. [2] and 17 in the south. [3] Several of these building will be over 300 feet (91 m) in height [4] [5]
Originally proposed in 2011 as "Scotts Run Station", Scotts Run was intended to leverage the Tysons Comprehensive Plan to establish a large, mixed-use neighborhood similar to Reston Town Center. The project was later split into two separate sections, "Scotts Run Station South" and "Scotts Run Station North" and the "Station" portion was dropped from both names. The south section was approved by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors in 2012 while the north section was put on hold. While work on the initial buildings on the south section started, the north section was converted to a parking lot to support the newly opened McLean station. In 2014, the application for Scotts Run North was reactivated. [1]
Scotts Run South was approved by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors in April, 2013. [6] The first office building, MITRE Building 4, was completed in 2015. [7] The first residential building, The Haden, was completed in 2016. [8] In mid 2017, construction started on two additional residential buildings and the first retail space within the development. [9] In July, 2017, Skanska, a Swedish developer, announced the purchase of a portion of the area with the intention of developing a 350 unit apartment building with ground floor retail by 2022. [10]
Scotts Run North was approved by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors in June, 2015. [11]

The population was 26,374 as of the 2020 census.

It opened to the public in 1968, becoming one of the first fully enclosed, climate-controlled shopping malls in the Washington metropolitan area. The mall's three department store anchors are Bloomingdale's, Macy's, and Nordstrom.
The Orange Line is a rapid transit line of the Washington Metro system, consisting of 26 stations in Fairfax County and Arlington, Virginia; the District of Columbia; and Prince George's County, Maryland, United States. MetroWest is a transit-oriented development being developed by PulteGroup (residential) and CRC (commercial) adjacent to the Vienna Metro station in Fairfax County, Virginia. It replaces 65 single-family detached houses with a mixed-use neighborhood including up to 1,174 residential units, up to 190,000 square feet (18,000 m2) of retail space, and up to 1,000,000 square feet (90,000 m2) of office space. The north boundary is Saintsbury Drive, and the south boundary is Lee Highway. In July 2009, Fairfax County approved Pulte's request to change the allocation of space to provide more office space and less apartment space.
St Paul's Tower is a skyscraper located on Arundel Gate in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. Construction commenced in May 2006 and the building was topped out in August 2010, surpassing Sheffield University's Arts Tower as the tallest building in Sheffield at 101 metres (331 ft) tall. The city's first skyscraper, it was constructed as the centrepiece of the St Paul's Place project as part of the Heart of the City redevelopment of Sheffield city centre.
Deansgate Square, formerly known as Owen Street, is a skyscraper cluster on the southern edge of Manchester City Centre, England, consisting of four towers, the tallest of which is 201 metres (659 ft). The site is just south of Deansgate railway station and north of the Mancunian Way, bounded by Deansgate, Owen Street and the River Medlock. The towers sit at different angles to each other, with a slight bevel, or 'cut back', on each side of each building which ensures the towers catch the light at different times of day.

Fairfax Square is an upscale mixed-use development located directly south of Tysons Corner Center across Leesburg Pike in Tysons Corner, Virginia. It includes 400,000 sq ft (37,160 m2) of Class A office space, primarily occupied by financial tenants such as American Express, Merrill Lynch, and New York Life, and high-end ground-floor retail among its three identical high-rises. Fairfax Square was designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. Its buildings are clad in Brazilian granite, and its lobbies are finished with Italian marble and wood paneling. Ground was broken for the development in 1988. The complex replaced a Kmart store and its parking lot.
Reston Station is a transit-oriented, mixed-use, urban employment center in the community of Reston in Fairfax County, Virginia. It is being developed through a public-private partnership between Fairfax County and Comstock Partners LC. The development, which provides access to the Wiehle–Reston East Metro station, consists of a subterranean Metro parking facility beneath a public plaza surrounded by office and residential high-rise buildings.

Qualtrics Tower, formerly known as 2+U and 2&U, is a high-rise office building in Downtown Seattle, Washington. The 500-foot-tall (150 m), 38-story tower is located at 2nd Avenue and University Street and was completed in 2020. The building has 725,000 square feet (67,400 m2) of leasable space, including retail and public spaces on the lower levels. The largest office tenant is Qualtrics, who also hold the naming rights to the building.
