Syed Md Tanvir Tareq (known as Tanvir Tareq) is a Bangladeshi music composer, director, singer, and television anchor. [2] His father is Syed Omar Faruk and his mother is Tahmina Faruk. He won the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Music Composer for the film Maya: The Lost Mother (2019). [3]

Career

Tareq took sound engineering lessons from Tink Azizur Rahman and guitar lessons from singer Lucky Akhand. [4]

He worked as Head of Program AT ASIAN TV (2019).[ citation needed ]

He has directed music for Ayub Bachchu, Partha Barua, Bappa Mazumder, Samina Chowdhury, Fahmida Nabi, James, and Indian singer Kailash Kher. [5] He released his 23rd mixed album, Hridoy Ghotito, in 2012. [6] He composed songs for the solo album Mughdhota Nibo Bole by Subir Nandi. [6]

Tareq has anchored television programmes on ATN News and Asian TV. [5] He hosted Talk Chart on ATN Bangla, Media Gossip on Ekushey TV and Shetu Bondhon for Diganta Television, Green Room for Radio Today. [6] As of October 2020, he has been hosting Raat Adda With Tanvir Tareq weekly on Jago FM since 2017. [7]

Tareq authored a book, Alomahal, released at the 2015 Ekushey Book Fair, published by Jagriti Prokashony. [8]

Humayun Ahmed was a Bangladeshi novelist, dramatist, screenwriter, filmmaker, songwriter, scholar, and professor. His breakthrough was his debut novel Nondito Noroke published in 1972. Tareque Masud

Tareque Masud was a Bangladeshi independent film director, film producer, screenwriter and lyricist. He first found success with the films Muktir Gaan (1995) and Matir Moina (2002), for which he won three international awards, including the International Critics' FIPRESCI Prize, in the Directors' Fortnight at 2002 Cannes Film Festival. The film became Bangladesh's first film to compete for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.

Zulfiqer Russell is a much admired Bangladeshi lyricist and journalist. He is currently the editor of the popular online news site, The Bangla Tribune. Mustafa Monwar Bangladeshi artist

Mustafa Monwar is a Bangladeshi artist. He is a painter, sculptor, radio performer and professor of fine arts. He is currently the chairman of Bangladesh Shishu Academy. He was awarded Ekushey Padak in 2004 by the Government of Bangladesh.

Mishuk Munier

Ashfaque Munier was a Bangladeshi media specialist and broadcast journalist. He was known for his photography direction and for being the cofounder of the global news channel The Real News Network. He was one of three sons of Munier Chowdhury. Mishuk served as the chief executive officer and chief editor of satellite TV channel ATN News. He died in a road accident, along with Tareque Masud, on August 13, 2011. He was awarded Ekushey Padak for his contribution to journalism in 2012 by the Bangladeshi government.
