The economy of Indonesia is a mixed economy with dirigiste characteristics,and it is one of the emerging market economies in the world and the largest in Southeast Asia. As an upper-middle income country and member of the G20,Indonesia is classified as a newly industrialized country. Estimated at over 21 quadrillion rupiah in 2023,it is the 16th largest economy in the world by nominal GDP and the 7th largest in terms of GDP (PPP). Indonesia's internet economy reached US$77 billion in 2022,and is expected to cross the US$130 billion mark by 2025. Indonesia depends on the domestic market and government budget spending and its ownership of state-owned enterprises. The administration of prices of a range of basic goods also plays a significant role in Indonesia's market economy. However,since the 1990s,the majority of the economy has been controlled by individual Indonesians and foreign companies.
Wiranto is an Indonesian politician and retired army general,who is serving as the chairman of the Presidential Advisory Council,since December 2019. Previously,he was the Commander of the Indonesian Armed Forces from February 1998 to October 1999 during Indonesia's transition from authoritarian rule to democracy,he ran unsuccessfully for President of Indonesia in 2004 and for the vice-presidency in 2009. On 27 July 2016,Wiranto was appointed Coordinating Minister for Political,Legal,and Security Affairs,replacing Luhut Binsar Panjaitan.
Mari Elka Pangestu,is an Indonesian economist who served as managing director of Development Policy and Partnerships in the World Bank from 2020 to 2023. The President of the World Bank,David Malpass,announced her appointment on 9 January 2020 saying that she would be responsible for development policy and partnerships in her role in the bank. Previously she served as Minister of Trade in Indonesia from October 2004 to October 2011.

The People's Conscience Party,better known by its abbreviation,Hanura,is a political party in Indonesia. It was established following a meeting in Jakarta on 13–14 December 2006 and first headed by former Indonesian National Armed Forces commander Wiranto. The party lost its seats in the People's Representative Council after a poor performance in the 2019 general election.
Rizal Ramli was an Indonesian politician,economist,and student activist. Ramli served as Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs under President Joko Widodo's Working Cabinet. He also served under President Abdurrahman Wahid's administration as Chair of the Indonesian Bureau of Logistics (Bulog),Coordinating Minister of the Economy,Finance and Industry also Minister of Finance in the National Unity Cabinet.
Joko Widodo,popularly known as Jokowi,is an Indonesian politician and businessman who is the seventh president of Indonesia. Previously a member of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P),he was the country's first president to not emerge from the country's political or military elite. He previously served as governor of Jakarta from 2012 to 2014 and mayor of Surakarta from 2005 to 2012.

The Ministry of Defense is an Indonesian government ministry responsible for the defense of Indonesia. The ministry was formerly known as the Department of Defense until 2009 when the nomenclature changed based on Act Number 39 of 2008 on State Ministries,the name of the Department of Defense was changed to the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia. The currently-appointed minister is Prabowo Subianto,replacing Ryamizard Ryacudu on 23 October 2019.

Mahendra Siregar is the chief of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) of Indonesia. He previously served as Deputy Foreign Minister and was formerly the Indonesian Ambassador to the United States. On 25 October 2019,he was appointed as the deputy minister of foreign affairs supporting Indonesian foreign minister Retno Marsudi in the second Jokowi cabinet appointed two days earlier on 23 October. Earlier,he had been appointed as Ambassador to the US by President Joko Widodo in 2018. He took up his post in Washington DC in early 2019. Mahendra is a respected economist in Indonesia who has held various senior positions within the Indonesian bureaucracy.
The Onward Indonesia Cabinet is the current Cabinet of Indonesia. It was announced by President Joko Widodo on 23 October 2019. The president has so far reshuffled the cabinet on ten occasions. The last reshuffle occurred in February 2024.
The Indonesia–Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement is a bilateral agreement signed between Australia and Indonesia in March 2019,ratified by Australia in November 2019 and Indonesia in February 2020. The agreement contains a free trade agreement removing tariffs from nearly all products traded between both countries,in addition to loosening investment regulations in Indonesia for Australian firms and increasing the quota for Indonesians seeking vocational training in Australia.

Nusantara Capital City Authority is a cabinet level-agency formed by the Indonesian government,working directly under the President of Indonesia. The agency will become a special agency tasked with managing and governing the city of Nusantara,future capital of Indonesia located on Kalimantan.
The Investment Coordinating Board is Non-Ministerial Government Body in Indonesia for formulation of government policies in the field of investment,both domestically and abroad.
