The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) is a public academic health science center in Galveston, Texas, United States. It is part of the University of Texas System. UTMB includes the oldest medical school in Texas, and has about 11,000 employees. In February 2019, it received an endowment of $560 million.

It opened in 1824 as a small private college aimed at training physicians and has since established hospitals and medical facilities across the state. The Biomedical Biological Science Research Building (BBSRB) is a five-story research facility for the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky. It is located at the corner of Virginia Avenue and South Limestone.
The Biological Pharmaceutical Complex Building, later renamed to the Lee T. Todd Jr. Building, is a five-story building on the University of Kentucky campus on South Limestone adjacent to the Biomedical Biological Science Research Building that was dedicated on January 25, 2010. The building allowed the College of Pharmacy to relocate from its former location along Rose Street. In addition, the college faculty members were able to relocate from ten existing structures on and off campus to one central location.

The 167-bed facility was founded in 1918 in downtown and is one of two hospitals in Hillsboro, Washington County's most populous city. Since 2019, it has been operated by OHSU Health, and previously had partnerships with Oregon Health & Science University and Pacific University. At six stories tall, the main building was tied for the tallest in the city with the Hillsboro Civic Center as of 2006.
