USL Pro Iowa is a proposed American professional soccer club located in Des Moines, Iowa. The club was planned to debut in the USL Championship in 2025. [1] [2] The team plans to play its games in a brand-new soccer-specific stadium. [1] [3] As of a January 16, 2024 update, USL Pro Iowa confirmed that the stadium completion would not be possible in 2025 as originally planned. [4]

Despite initially announcing plans for the stadium in 2019 with a 2022 start date and multiple government aid packages, [5] the team has been delayed repeatedly and as of July 2023 was seeking additional subsidies. [6]
