Mary Dagen McDowell (born January 7, 1969) is an American anchor and co-host of The Bottom Line on Fox Business as well as a commentator and guest host on Fox News. [2]

Education

A native of Campbell County, Virginia, from a family of Irish background, McDowell graduated from Wake Forest University [1] with a degree in art history.

Career

McDowell began her career as a financial journalist at the Institutional Investor's Newsletter Division. [1]

Fox News

McDowell co-hosted Mornings with Maria on Fox Business from its inception in 2015 until 2023. She also appeared on Imus in the Morning prior to Imus' death in 2019, and was a weekly panelist for Cashin' In (she has won the Cashin' In Challenge three times, in 2013, 2014, and 2015, defeating the other three panelists, all of whom are professional money managers).[ citation needed ] McDowell is regularly asked to provide her opinions about economics and politics on Fox News. She served as a panelist on Cavuto on Business, and became the host of Bulls and Bears in 2016 following predecessor Brenda Buttner's eventually fatal cancer diagnosis. She participates regularly in Outnumbered , The Five and Gutfeld! . [3] She also worked for TheStreet.

In December 2022 Fox Business named McDowell co-host of a new show called The Bottom Line alongside Sean Duffy. The show debuted on January 23, 2023. [4]

This Week, originally titled as This Week with David Brinkley and currently billed as This Week with George Stephanopoulos, is an American Sunday morning political affairs program airing on ABC. It premiered on November 15, 1981, replacing Issues and Answers with David Brinkley as its original anchor until his retirement in 1996. The program has been anchored by George Stephanopoulos since 2012, after first hosting it from 2002 to 2010. Martha Raddatz and Jonathan Karl have been co-hosts since 2016 and 2021, respectively. The program airs live at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time although many stations air the program at a later slot to air local newscasts, especially those in other time zones. During the David Brinkley era, the program drew consistent #1 ratings and in Stephanopolous era generally runs in third place among the Sunday morning talk shows, behind Meet the Press and Face the Nation.

<i>Imus in the Morning</i> US radio program (1968-2018)

Imus in the Morning was a long-running radio show hosted by Don Imus. The show originated on June 2, 1968, on various stations in the Western United States and Cleveland, Ohio before settling on WNBC radio in New York City in 1971. In October 1988, the show moved to WFAN when that station took over WNBC's dial position following an ownership change. It was later syndicated to 60 other stations across the country by Westwood One, a division of CBS Radio, airing weekdays from 5:30 to 10 am Eastern time. Beginning September 3, 1996, the 6 to 9 am portion was simulcast on the cable television network MSNBC.

Juliet AnnMarie Huddy is an American talk radio host, podcaster and former news anchor.
