This is the list of current members of the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan elected following the 2018 provincial election. [1]

The 11th Provincial Assembly was dissolved on 12 August 2023 by Governor Abdul Wali Kakar on the advice of Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo. [2]

Sardar Mohammad Saleh Bhootani is a Pakistani politician who belongs to a small town Dureji which is located in Lasbela District, Balouchistan. He was the Provincial Minister of Balochistan for Local Government and Rural Development, in office from 8 September 2018 til 12 August 2023. He had been a member of Provincial Assembly of the Balochistan from August 2018 till August 2023. Previously he served as Provincial Minister of the Balochistan for Food, and Law and Parliamentary Affairs from 30 August 2018 to 8 September 2018.

Mir Jan Mohammad Khan Jamali is a Pakistani politician who served as the Speaker of the Balochistan Assembly from 4 June 2013 to 2015. Mir Jan Muhammad Jamali served as the 9th Chief Minister of Balochistan from 13 August 1998 till 12 October 1999 when Army Chief General Pervaiz Mushraf over took the Government. He served two terms as Deputy Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan from March 2006 to March 2012. Jan Mohammad Jamali contested in the 2013 elections from PB25 and won on the seat of PML-N. In 2018, he again contested from PB14 and won on the ticket of BAP. He is a well-known personality throughout Balochistan.

The Chief Minister of Balochistan is the head of government of the Pakistani province of Balochistan. The chief minister leads the legislative branch of the provincial government, and is elected by the Provincial Assembly. Given that he has the confidence of the assembly, the chief minister's term is for five years and is subject to no term limits. Sarfraz Bugti is the current chief minister of Balochistan.

Provincial elections were held in the Pakistani province of Balochistan on 25 July 2018. Newly formed Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party by winning 24 seats followed by Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal who won 10 seats. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf won 7 seats for the very first time.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2024 Balochistan provincial election</span>

Provincial elections were held in Balochistan on 8 February 2024 to elect a new provincial legislature. On 5 August 2023, after the approval of the results of the 2023 digital census by the Council of Common Interests headed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, elections have been delayed for several months, as new delimitations will be published on 14 December 2023. On 2 November 2023, the Election Commission of Pakistan announced, in agreement with the President of Pakistan, Arif Alvi, that the elections will be held on 8 February 2024. This election will be held concurrently with nationwide general elections and other provincial elections.

The events listed below are both anticipated and scheduled for the year 2023 in Pakistan.
